you simplified things so much easier than all the other youtube videos i've seen on the subject
Thanks.....glad I could be of help!
Thank you so much !! It mean't so A LOT TO ME. We are now learning about normal percentile I am so CONFUSED SADLY.
Finally a video that explains the concepts clearly. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching & commenting.
Thank you for this video! Your explanations helped me understand this concept.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you! Bless!
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
Crystal clear. Thank you!

Just started online classes a few weeks ago here in Fiji and today I had Mathematics involving this topic of z-scores and my teacher didnt explain very well. I'm grateful for this explanation. Have a great day :)
Best of luck!
You are the best. Thanks!
Thanks!
thank you! this makes so much sense.
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
brilliant!
best video from all on explaining z values
Glad you think so! Thanks for watching.
Wow, statistics is currently frustrating, but I'm so glad I took the initiative in looking for YT vids and finding this video. When you broke it down into words, I was like "Ohhh!!! that's why the formula is what it is, that's what the z value represents on the graph, and that's why the shading takes place in this direction!". Sometimes the words are all one needs, and it wasn't fair bc the professor used temperature as his only examples bc at first i was confused how this plays out using nonzero numbers "ie. having 200 counting as the mean and working from that, but your example was almost exactly like my hw problem and the jungle that was my mind all of a sudden untangled itself and it clicked. All this to say.....Thank you haha. You have just earned a subscriber
So glad the video was helpful for you! Thanks for watching, subscribing and commenting! ❤️
Very clear explanation ...Thank you so much!
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
@@ColesWorldofMathematics when searching for b) why do you 2nd align axis for 0.0?
You have a clear audible and understandable voice and well structured lesson.
Thank you mam.
It's my pleasure. Thanks for watching & commenting!
Miss. Cole , you did good job mam
Thank you! This is super helpful.
You’re welcome! So glad the video was helpful for you!
Helped a lot, thanks.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching.
Awesome. I understood you better than I understood my teacher..and today is my midterm...
Hope you did well!
Great video helped alot!
You’re welcome!
Thank you!

Hi! Thank you for making this video, it really helps
I want to ask, what if we got a z score greater than 4? is there any equation of it?
it was very clear thanks so much
Glad to hear that!
Hello.. thank you for that explanation. May I ask what could be the formula if only x is given? Thank you.

Dun dun dun! Cue awesome music 🎵
lol.....I’m a teacher with 34 years experience! But I still like to post videos to help students!
Thanks for explaining
You're welcome
Thank you revising 10 year after my MBA.
All the best!
very helpful. good work
Thanks!
Awesome Thanks
Great!!!!
Easy and understandable 😌 👌
Thanks!
I agree with blackcherry comment below. Very clear explanation
Thank you

If you dont have that table sheet can you use Statkey or TI84plus?
Is it possible to calculate the probability using z score without table ???..BTW Thanks for the crystal clear explanation
This was pretty helpful, like really!
Though this is not part of this lesson I do have a something to ask
It's still statistics
Let's say you need to find
P (z > 1.92)
P (z -1.92)
P (z < -1.92)
Found this in my sister's textbook and tried to answer it but I got stumped hard.
Like, they have the same answers, or I'm missing something (I pick the latter part)
Again, really enjoyed this video!
What if the z score is, for example, 12.98? How do i find the probability? Should i try something different to find a lower z score?
I'm struggling with a problem. Find the corresponding z-scores. Which baby weighs relatively more? Select the correct choice below and fill in the answer boxes to complete your choice. If I'm comparing Z zones. 3375-3000/900 =.416 and 3775-3400/560=.669 I have one come out to .416 and the other .669, which number is larger?
Help determining the real score of the following z-score
A.x=13 s=2.5 z=0.25
x=86 s=12.2 z=3.75
I need that table sheet
so do you always put the result of the z score under the given observation? for example, the observation is 10 and under it is the z score -1. is that where u identify put the z score value? i would have thought that the z score will be identified before the z score of 0 being a z score of -1. does this makes sense? thank u again!
I don't think you have a video on matched pairs t-test do you?
No, I'm sorry I don't. I don't generally teach probability and/or stats so I don't have very many of those related videos.
the bell shape must not touch the axis its asymptote
That is true......when hand drawing the curve, I'm never drawing to scale, it's getting infiintely close to the x-axis, and especially with a thick sharpie pen, you can't be that precise.
this is pogchmap
pogchmap
what is the formula for finding the probability using z score......i am kind of required to use it without the table and i don't know the formula...awesome explanation btw..thanks
Same , haven’t been able to find a video that shows how to do this
z=x(score) - (minus) mean /(over) standard deviation
