Underrated channel, I learned more in 7 minutes than the hours of statistic lessons I got in school. Some terms weren't explained clearly, so thanks to this video, I can finally understand it.
OMG! The tip that the value from the standard normal distribution table = the area to the left (regardless of the z-score being positive or negative) was everything. Totally unlocked the mystery! Thanks!!
Although this video is 4yrs old, its helped me sm! thank you "Dude" for going in depth in this video. I'm a freshman in college and my prof. teaches by the book so the examples and the process of answering the question is hard to understand. Thanks to this video, Im confident for my test tmr!
I can't thank you enough. I have been very confused about this topic in my Stats course and I have tried really hard to understand the material, however, there are still things that I just don't understand. Your video helped me to fill in the knowledge gap I initially had.
I don't do statistics as a major but it's a requirement in Medical Laboratory Sciences to understand quality control. Thanks for the video. 😎it was direct, straight and simple to follow.
You are great !! A BIG THANK YOU. Now I really understand how to use the Table z. All this while, I am blank. Thank again. You are awesome. In future, perhaps you can slow down the speed. Your video is superb. I get a better understanding on this topic.
I don’t understand why you went 5 over when finding the number on the Z Chart and not 4… please explain better and in more detail because you are the 8th video I have watched and all of you leave out important information… details, please explain
What if the question is like this. Find the area below M? or like find the area bet. M & positive 1? Do you have to use the normal distribution table or not?
if both the values are to the right of the mean do the values for area work the same but opposite. Meaning the area values account for the amount of area to the right of your data value.
If I understand your question correctly then yes, the right and left sides are a mirror image of one another. For instance, the Z value of -1.8 has an area of .0359 to the left of it, the opposite Z value of positive 1.8 does have the same area of 0.359 to the right of it. Hope than answers your question.
@@LeMap-d2n I'm sorry I did end up getting an A in the test and my stats class but I don't remember how I understood that and I'm high rn :/ I'll give it another look when the edible wears off

Great to hear Eternal Goddess, thanks for sharing that, it really means a lot to me.
I was searching from most videos that explain about how z score gives area. Glad finally found it. Thanks!
a very brilliant video. clear my confusion. i have already attended 9 hours of stat lesson. thank you.
I am in searching of a valuable video for last two days and now I found this awesome video with briefly explanation.
OMG! The tip that the value from the standard normal distribution table = the area to the left (regardless of the z-score being positive or negative) was everything. Totally unlocked the mystery! Thanks!!
7 minute lesson > 2-3 hours online lecture
Wholesome!!
Best video on this subject so far, ty!

Awesome to hear that my friend, thanks for sharing that with me!
CANT THANK YOU ENOUGGH. this helped me way more than you can think. only decent person to explain such concepts
Awesome to hear, thanks for the kind words my friend.
and Thank You for recommending me this video:)
Best video on z score on youtube .thank you so much sir 🙏.

Same😂
This is such an excellent video! Somehow simultaneously detailed and quick.
thank you so much. I watched many videos on the topic, and this was by far the best. great and clear explanation!
very helpful! I understood how it can be used in real life and now it all makes sense. thanks!
Very helpful video, understood in less than 5 mins
better than my biostatistics doctor man keep this work up!
great video, could have never imaged to grasp the concept that much easily.
Really well explained! And enjoyable to watch! Many thanks!
Perfect 💥 i learned this in 7 minutes ❤ #RESPECT
i have a biostat exam on tuesday and this was SOOOO helpful. I'm almost always so lost during the lectures. thank you so much!
there's no reason a 7 min youtube video conveys a topic better than an 1h15m of a college statistics class
Concise and crisp ❤
that's amazing! very easy to understand. thank you!
This was literally better than my top20 university lecture that goes for over an hour each session and costs way too much

Thanks for the work dude!!! God bless
Very good explanation of Z Score value.
Many thanks for your valuable classes, highly appreciated
Thanks I am doing Stats and this helps me out big time. Thanks
Great Explanation!
PERFECT!!!! It only took 7mins.
thank you so much for sharing this video. cleared all of my doubts :)
very good explanation, super clear.
So freakin kool like this is a very jampacked yet simple video
Great video! The z score went from being a head scratcher to intuitive in under 5 minutes 💯💯💯
Awesome, thanks for sharing that Nonya Bisnis!
Very good explanation
Thank you 💌💌very much , What a video🍀🍀
Excellent presentation and lucid explanation! I have sent your link to my students so they could understand concepts better. Thanks a lot.
Awesome, thanks danangeladavid. Great to hear that the video can be beneficial to some of your students. Thanks again.
Buell crap, he didn’t explain why he went 5 over when finding the number on the Z Chart, care to explain?
AMAAAAAAAAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well-explained 👏👏👏
Great Job
God bless you sir
The BEST!!! Thank you
Great video. Thank you very much!
Its really amazing , thanks a lot
Thanks for this video
Thank you so much! You rock
Thanks bro ❤
such a good video
can I ask something?when do we add the two corresponding areas of the z-score?and when do we add the corresponding area of the z-score to 0.50?
Miracle Worker!
learned a topic they didnt cover in the semester which is worth 20% of my exam in 7 mins , wow school is overated
Great simple video, strongly suggest taking out the music though.
thank you so much
God bless you

I have a same question :(( ... do you have any answer? plz exlain it
Thank you
Thank you. :)
Is a look-up table necessary? Is it possible to compute the value rather than referring to a table?
What if the question is like this.
Find the area below M? or like find the area bet. M & positive 1? Do you have to use the normal distribution table or not?
Thank you!!!
if both the values are to the right of the mean do the values for area work the same but opposite. Meaning the area values account for the amount of area to the right of your data value.
rather than the left as shown in the video

What would the probability be if z=-4 since theres no data from 3.5 onwards?
It basically means that the probability is almost zero, or very, very small.
Can you do this video again... but with the normal distribution curve where mean is 0 and std dev is 1?
How to find the area of a z-value that is greater 3 in or less than -3? It's not in the z table. For example is 4 or -4?
3:11..... how and why did you get .1190 when there is already a .1271
Write down the four situations for finding the area under the standard normal distribution.
Solution in P(Z > 1.65) using Z scores please 🥺
Probability between 38 and 45 should be positive .why you subtract plz reply😔
tysmmm!!
How the standard deviation is 3.5?
Why we subtract from 1 in last question
Nope, still don't get it 😭
Go and watch the similar videos on organic chemistry.. the tutor will explain to you and you get a better glimpse 🥺
The channel is Organic chemistry that's how I learned this topic
how do u find the mean?
Question what is the probability it will take 40 minutes , not less than or greater than , exactly 40 min what will be the probability
What if it's 1.183
how can you tell if it is above or below? mu = 86 x = 98.8 sigma = 6
Im not fine, thank you!
u must teach at king abdul aziz uni
but WHYYYYYYY do you go five to the right at 2:45? None of these videos seem to explain that. ugh
I have a same question :(( ... do you have any answer? plz exlain it

@@nolol6309 I guess that the first row of the table represented the second decimal. Is that right?
The chart starts with “.00” which means “.04” is the fifth one you go to
The standard normal distribution has never been sexier
I agree. lol, good to find humor in times like these. When this shutdown is over, I know you will be a statistics expert.
I still cant understand it
good job but you talk so fast. try to take it slower for the audience. thank you
@7:05 I realized he is just an NPC
what about excatly 45 minutes ? is it 0 ?
Yes, you are correct it is 0.
@@whatsupdude2778 Thanks for the responses! your explanation is Awesome and easy! OK I AM OUT OF HERE!
