    OMG! The tip that the value from the standard normal distribution table = the area to the left (regardless of the z-score being positive or negative) was everything. Totally unlocked the mystery! Thanks!!

    I don’t understand why you went 5 over when finding the number on the Z Chart and not 4… please explain better and in more detail because you are the 8th video I have watched and all of you leave out important information… details, please explain

    if both the values are to the right of the mean do the values for area work the same but opposite. Meaning the area values account for the amount of area to the right of your data value.

      If I understand your question correctly then yes, the right and left sides are a mirror image of one another. For instance, the Z value of -1.8 has an area of .0359 to the left of it, the opposite Z value of positive 1.8 does have the same area of 0.359 to the right of it. Hope than answers your question.
