Love you honey . Love how you spot and take shots of special little pieces of Nature and how you “keep it real” and don’t make it all rainbows and unicorns with music like some channels do 🙄. I wish you all the best and I know everything is going to work out for you ! You have lots of talent ! ❤
Ya know, you could video everything on your iPhone and 90% of us would never know the difference! Most of us watch because of you, not expecting any “cinema” quality production. 😊😊 ❤❤
Thanks for the delightful video! I used to hike the Knobstone back in the 90s. As I recall, the trail between Elk Creek and Leota was especially rugged.
The video quality is just fine Maddie. I wouldn’t be overly worried about it. Your fun outlook on your adventures or sometimes misadventures are great!
Totally relate. I’m always getting confused with the knobstone. They have horse paths/service roads and some times seldom used hiking trails all criss-crossing each other. There is Salem, Chapel Station or Hill and two lakes in between. Names eluding me though. Ahhhhh!
My mom used to say something funny to me..."If you didn't have bad luck, you'd have none at all." 😂 As always, you triumphed. You are such an entertainer. Onward Ranger. 😊✌️
Ranger is a one of a kind jewel. I think you could make an adventure out of gong to the grocery store and I would enjoy watching it. That trail looked like it could be a tick heaven did you find any on you. I often rely on All Trails naps to get me out of bedding turned around. But I have the attitude I’m never lost because I am where I am. 😂❤
Sometimes it's fun to get turned around! You made the most of it and came out smiling! I look forward to your van tour and I hope you can get everything ready to start out soon!
This was so fun to watch! I know I have gotten confused and turned around with those maps so this was really relatable. Love the humor and your wonderful attitude! Thanks for taking us on this beautiful hike! ❤
This is a great video Maddie! I think one reason many of us enjoy your videos is your honesty and realism. Most people edit their videos to only reflect themselves in a positive light. The truth is life is full of mistakes and wrong turns and that is how we learn. My father used to say "you never learn anything by doing things right." Looking forward to your upcoming road trip!
I just did 10 miles on KT this week. I know exactly where you were. I’m local to you so I know we’ll get to meet one day on one of the trails around. I’m headed back to the AT Monday to do Virginia nobo starting at Damascus.
Nice day for a hike to stay connected in the wilderness. Good photos and amazing things out on trail. Thanks for sharing your adventure you two. ✌️♥️💪🇺🇸
Greetings from the UK, randomly found your channel from the 12v cooler video, you’re great and make interesting content.. don’t know how you only have 34k subs?! Thanks for making videos!
It was so much fun being in the hike with you today! I love that you find humor in your adventures. My husband call me Lucy because those things happen to me! Whenever you can take off on a road trip, we'll be here trippin' with you. Thanks for all of your work❤
I love how you go with the flow. I have gotten lost so many times but I have ended up seeing the most beautiful places that way. I am looking forward to your out West adventure.
That was a nice, exploring walk around Southern Indiana and you still have the Knobstone Trail hike stored away for the future when you are looking for a trek you can video. Keep up the good work.
Must have been the recent tornadic storms that knocked down those trees to the north of pixley knob. you continued south to the older tornado damaged area west of Henryville. I remember that tornado dropping desbris into my neighborhood here in western Cincinnati. Not fun! Good to see you recording your hikes again. Thanks Maddie. Cheers!
I own our old home place in Borden that once belonged to my grandparents. That tornado west of Henryville was in 2012. We suffered some damage but just 1/4 mile from us was total devastation. It changed the landscape entirely. 😞
@@TeeGreen222 So sorry to know the history of that tornado and to remember the lives lost. Oddly as the storm passed over my home it dropped a piece of mail... a wedding invitation addressed for your area. I remember seeing the devistation of the forest from televised reports, and to now see the area recovering gives hope for the trail, but to see yet more trees down like that, mother nature is sometimes not kind. The area is beautiful in the whole grand scheme though. Time to re-hike the KT! Cheers!
Oh dear girl, PLEASE dont go to the southwest! not until winter! I live here in arizona and it well over 100 most days during the summer! now if you come here during fall its awesome! (sept to nov/dec) Your summer looks awesome there! so nice & cool looking...Im jealous! it was 103 here today 😓😓
Looks like I'm going to have to hike this trail soon, looks like it could be a great place for snake hunting. Was at Brown County State Park this past weekend, looking for Copperheads and Timber Rattlers. No Such luck. All that leaf cover could be a good hot spot for Coppers.
Go west! Yeah! My son works at Umpqua’s Last Resort in Oregon near many great hikes! Crater Lake and so much more! He would even take you on waterfall tours! It’s a great resort
Hi, nice video! Do you know remember what mile marker the campground at 13:31 is? I'm doing another day hike from Deam Lake and need a lunch spot, but I don't recall seeing it the first time. Is it like mile 11-12?
Sending you support ❤
Thanks so much!!

Love this video! Thanks for taking us along.
Yay! Glad you enjoyed it!
didn't know this trail existed. looks like another one I'll have to check out
I get turned around on the most popular trails.Makes for an adventure though.
Ya know, you could video everything on your iPhone and 90% of us would never know the difference! Most of us watch because of you, not expecting any “cinema” quality production. 😊😊 ❤❤
Thank you so much! I needed to hear that!
True

That’s awesome that you’ve been there too! It’s a good trail

Well glad I'm not the only one!
My mom used to say something funny to me..."If you didn't have bad luck, you'd have none at all." 😂 As always, you triumphed. You are such an entertainer. Onward Ranger. 😊✌️
Thank you Maddie. That was an awesome view. Beautiful countryside. Stay cool. Love from Texas ❤❤❤
Thank you! You stay cool too!

Definitely! That made it so much more of an adventure!
Jeff is correct-you are a delightful ray of sunshine. Go get'em strong woman.
Thank you :)

I love the editing! Way to make lemonade out of lemons.
I love when you hike Indiana, my home state ❤. Don't worry about what those strangers think!!!
Love the bee balancing on the daisy!!!
You were cracking me up in the beginning! I loved it! Way to persevere and enjoy the trail despite getting turned around! ❤
I just did 10 miles on KT this week. I know exactly where you were. I’m local to you so I know we’ll get to meet one day on one of the trails around. I’m headed back to the AT Monday to do Virginia nobo starting at Damascus.
This was hilarious 😂, thank you so much. I needed a good laugh.

Thanks for watching!

I own a place in Borden - near the Jackson Road trailhead. So beautiful this time of year ❤
I live near Bartle knob. Curious if your place is the little house over looking Speed?? That view is 😮
Good you have a sense of humor when getting lost, glad you found your way. ♥️
Thanks for the adventure. You kept us in suspense. 😂
I try to keep things interesting!

Maddie I enjoyed hiking video, i thought I was going have to come find you .I hope you have a great day.
You're my spirit sister, Maddie! ❤😂

Thank you Maddie 😊 Beautiful hike, view, hope you are doing well my friend 👍🏻God Bless 🙏🏻 Appreciate you!🫶🏻
Thank you! You too!
I love getting lost in the woods! Great job navigating as per usual! Also your hairs getting so long I love it!
Have u had any big foot encounters when u went on superior trail or appalation trail
That was fun, and I enjoyed the pretty scenery too!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Suspence filled hike. 😮 pretty too😊
I like the shot with the feather! Very nice!
Thank you! I was so excited when I had that idea!
Thanks for sharing the lovely scenery. I think those cell phone maps are more confusing, use your compass whenever you are lost it is your friend.
What a genius title to your thumbnail. And you know, you can't really get lost if you have a smart phone 😏
Awww good glad you liked it
i havent done this section yet. Hoping to do more this fall. Glad after all the twists and turns you found your way!
Hopefully things line up and we can soon watch you traveling out West. And btw, that tuna is my favorite. Makes a great tuna wrap. 😋
Your Adorable....Lol. You make me 😂 Another great time see you in the next one
Swallow trail.
I told you I attended trail days in Demascus couple of hours for a contra dance at the stone building that Friday
This was quite fun. Loved the foreshadowing voice over. Hope your hand heals quickly, darn it that stinks.

0:24 that voice over 😂 I don’t recall listening you using that voice lol glad you’re ok

I love those fruit snacks!
Go west! Yeah! My son works at Umpqua’s Last Resort in Oregon near many great hikes! Crater Lake and so much more! He would even take you on waterfall tours! It’s a great resort
Laughing, the whole time you're trying to find the trail that kid from the Matrix keep coming to mind, "there is no spoon" 😆
I wasnt ready for that horror story voiceover. 😂😂
I gotta build the ominous-ness!
This made me smile. I use GPS and the Komoot app even in my local forest of 6,000 acres otherwise I would get horribly lost!!
You're killing it. Have you thought about doing comedy?
Maddie says, "I am not lost. I'm exploring". Rather said, if you are following me, you may be lost .... haha
Let's Go!!!
🙌🔥
Remember John Muir said, "And into the forest I go to lose my mind and find my soul." ❤ being lost in the woods isn't always a bad thing.
Hi, nice video! Do you know remember what mile marker the campground at 13:31 is? I'm doing another day hike from Deam Lake and need a lunch spot, but I don't recall seeing it the first time. Is it like mile 11-12?
Hmmm I think it must've been mile 11 or 12 because I didn't go very far that day
Is smoke going on the road with you 🙂💖
Looked like a figure in the woods before the spider Webb. lol to many big foot videos for me
Seems to me like they’re signage sucks.
So do you live in IN or MO?
Indiana!
It’s off the parking lot I’m pretty sure
It’s a bit of a walk down the road to the trailhead, and apparently I didn’t go far enough the first time!
Long pants and a hat might help.p with the inevitable tics.
Welcome to Indiana.., the State Park system is terrible
Yeah a few signs or arrows could've really helped!
Most I’ve went to have plenty of signs.
What part of the big yellow KT on the black post did you manage to miss, blind leading the blind.
It looks big because I'm standing right at it! Further down the road, you couldn't see it
Beautiful areas.
Thank you ☺️
