I've had the Pod Pro (Gen2) and subscription for over 2 years and have not had any issues. It's great! The only complaint was that the Pod3 came out 2 months after I purchased the Pro. They also offer discounts on upgrades/additional Pods to existing customers. Can't sleep without it. They've also been hinting at a travel system (via member surveys) for those who don't want to travel without one.
I'd rather sleep on a cardboard box then try to fall asleep in a room that was 80 degrees lol. Anyway....Great review, I'm hoping to try one out this summer and this answered a lot of questions. Thanks!
I tried the cover for a few weeks and really loved it. My wife hated it, though, so it was sent back 😢. If they come up with a half cover, I'm all over it. I love sleeping on a cool bed. We've had bedjets for 6 years and they are great but the eightsleep cover was even better because it eliminates any feeling of excess heat between you and the bed. The cons are it adds some firmness to your mattress, and it SPOILS you so you never want to sleep without it!
The subscription models are a joke. So off putting.

insane to pay that much for a product and then have to pay for a subscription to use it fully..

Sleep . Me (maker of Ooler and the upgraded Dock Pro) has a “Me”. Version that just covers half the bed. I love my dock pro
