I have this awesome watch. To anyone concerned of the thickness, try it on first. It would be perfect if it was say 13-13.5mm thick however the thickness doesn't bother me at all, the watch looks and feels thinner than the spec suggests.

the green grand seiko is the best alternative to a Rolex hulk except the grand Seiko is way cheaper, easier to get, better finishing, more accurate and looks fantastic
Maybe, but Japanese have no personality, Why use "german gothic" for the font of Grand Seiko?, Why not Japanese characters (セイコー)?, that is not normal.

I know only Japan brands. So I don’t know about other Japan brand, actually. I think Grand Seiko provide good quality bracelets because the edge. The edge of bracelets has strong commitment. It is not rounded but comfortable.
@@ruvarkus I have the green one, didn't try on the blue but did see the blue one on display. If you want a brighter dial, get the blue one as the blue on the springdrive gmt isn't that dark. If you don't mind something a little darker, get the green as this watch's shade of green is a bit dark like a deep forest color and can sometimes look black from some angles. I already have a blue dial watch and had a few blue dial watches in the past but never green so that's why decided to get the green.

The bracelet has micro adjustment, I saw four. Not on the fly but still they have it now.

I was lucky enough to get a Seiko Zimbe (#12) recently and it has the green / gold colorway. I thought of Australia as well when I first saw it on YT.

That green bezel might as well be carved out of emerald 🤣 beautiful dial. GS should have putted full lumed indexes. Would have been more practical.

Grand Seiko doesn't 'go crazy' with the lume on their non-diver models. But, their GS divers are lumed very well: SBGH257, SBGA229 / 231, etc.
