It's actually pronounced Fond, but you were quite close. Who cares what it's called though right? ...burnt tasty stuff stuck to the bottom of the pan is good enough for me 😉

I have never cooked Oxtail... is it cheaper than roast?
In other words would this be better cost effective than other meat?

Thanks so much! Oxtail used to be a cheap cut, but since it has grown in popularity over the years, it is now a quite expensive cut considering it's about 40% bone weight. I'm happy you liked the video!
