@@bageda3109I am assuming ur really smart, but you don't have the confidence to take action. I tried many IQ tests and never understood the questions mid test. My brain didn't want to understand the questions and it was really hard. If I had an approximate IQ of 125 like you, I was a millionaire by now.
If I was you, with an Approximate IQ of 125 I'd immediately get in to crypto currency. You'd understand it so quickly and effortlessly. You would be financially free in no time! Get in to crypto and watch allot of guides, learn the patterns and most importantly learn the strategy. I wish you success in your life, don't let negative thoughts crush your ambitions.

You sound quite well spoken and you use words like plateau and sustainable in a natural way so you probably have more capacity than IQ 70 would suggest. Sometimes people have a blindspot for certain things but can be quite capable in other matters.
Also mcdonalds and restaurant jobs, those are not necessarily easy jobs, more ungrateful jobs for young people. There can be surprisingly easy and well paid jobs.

You could say that he is not that bright when he tried to talk about abstract concepts or couldn't understand basic probability which lead to him spending all of his money on gambling. But that's it. Whilst having a low IQ can be challenging especially in the work place, if you're creative then that gap in intelligence closes pretty quickly. I for instance have a fairly high IQ but I'm not very creative, which as a consequence means I lack entrepreneurial spirit. Unfortunately there is no scale to measure creativeness like with IQ which is a shame because so many extremely gifted people often get overlooked.

The big myth about education is that you must do well at everything. With this unfair pressure most students give up. The reality is we are all only really talented in one or two things. If I was giving advice to the average young person I would say focus your time and energy on your talent such as art, music, maths and just do your best with the others. Also reading novels and having a dictionary on hand is excellent for building vocabulary and communication skills.

I have 107 IQ but there was a time that my parents actually had me tested to see if I might have a deficit because I wasn't doing well in school. I recently scored 117 in an IQ test. Currently work for eBay on the Biz Ops team.
I think your key point is true. A persons ability to work hard and apply themselves can negate any IQ gap in a broad spectrum of jobs. However, Doctor, Executive, Scientist etc all require a high IQ.

It's really hard for me to process what people tell me, mostly when I speak with people I don't know well. I think it mostly has to do with being anxious around other people, and I feel there is pressure on me that I need to understand what they're talking about, which makes me unable to focus. As soon as they say a thing I don't fully comprehend, I quickly lose track of what they're saying, and I just zone out.

I think good habits are just as important as high IQ. If you have high IQ, you might figure out new things pretty quickly but then you may burn out or just chase your tail by rethinking everything every day. It's important to have a stable daily routine that allows you to sustain yourself financially and physically, while having free energy to make conscious improvements to your life here and there. If you have a lot of social inclusion, you can piggy back off of other people, which is no worse than getting stuck figuring everything out by yourself.
I might be in an opposite situation to you. I think I have lots of potential but I'm somewhat of a mildly socialized caveman.

Technically, I also have a low iq (but it mainly affects me on performance tasks like handwriting, spatial awareness and my processing speed) but other than that, I have a verbal iq well in the normal range (105 vs 60) which earned me a 'full scale' score of 81 back in Elementary School. Sometimes I struggle learning the tasks on the job (especially if they're nonverbal). The results were as follows:
Working Memory ('Freedom From Distractibility'):118 (116 in hs)
    Verbal Comprehension:103 (89 in hs)
    Processing Speed:67 (53 in hs)
    Perceptual Organization:62 (73 in hs)
My school Psychologists noted that I have above average abstract reasoning (verbally and nonverbally), has great auditory recall, general knowledge, comprehension skills and expressive vocabulary. However, I have deficits in my ability to predict social outcomes in everyday situations (this in part may be due to my autism diagnosis), a very slow processing speed, poor gross and fine motor skills (I have handwriting of a second grader) and I have difficulty discriminating and recognizing visual details.
In high school, on the WISC IV, I earned a full scale 'iq' of 78. Long story short, I graduated Cum laude in college; however, when I went to work for Lifetouch as a Photography Sales Specialist, I had a very hard time making sales, understanding what to say to my client, my strategic thinking ability, etc and was quickly let go after 1 week of training (not to mention I took twice as long calculating the customer's totals accurately which were all different each time. Good video. I wonder if your 20 minutes of reading has helped you to process information better. You say you can remember more of what you read now, than when you started. So it could be that you understand and store more of the information, because you understand what you are reading more now.
Kind of like, if you learned French language, if you don't know many words when you stated learning French, you could not understand what you read, so you could not remember it. But as you learn more French words, you can understand what the sentences mean, as you read them. Then you remember more.

Remember that IQ does not measure your worth as a human. There are evil geniuses and absolute gems who are below average in intelligence. I would rather my children be good humans than geniuses. I do recognize that it is hard to make a living wage with cognitive limitations. I have always said that the 3 things required to be successful are work ethic, high social iq or the ability to make friends with everyone, and high IQ. When you lack in one, you have to make up for in another. You seem like such a charming guy and I hope you succeed in whatever you do. That likeability is your x factor that will make others want you to succeed. You just have to find that position with someone that wants to teach you and be patient with you. Remember, you are a whole person. Your IQ is just a part of it. You are so much more.

IQ test scores across domains are correlated at about 0.89 predictive power. Recall and retention, pattern recognition, processing speed, comprehension, reasoning, problem solving. Those things vary _as a group_ from person to person (a person low in pattern recognition is low in every single other area with about 90% probability). I have a high IQ, and I have easily succeeded at every job I have ever worked. People respond by praising, admiring, listening, relying on me, and paying me.
A person with an 80 IQ can take months just to learn where things go on shelves in a supermarket. They can't even join the military, and it's 5 to 10% of the population. How are they supposed to live meaningful lives? When it comes to living human life, thinking is terrifyingly close to "the whole story".
I am very sure that low IQ and high IQ do not have comparable pros and cons, and I respectfully ask that you consider carefully whether what you wrote here is true. From what I have studied and seen in myself and people I have known, this is misleading. And minimizing a real problem can hurt real people.

How specifically can someone live a meaningful life when the answer is not "work harder"? What would you say to someone living alone because his skills and words could not impress anyone, and who cried because he could not be useful?
