He's very fidgety and restless, keeps looking away when Pereira is staring him down unblinkingly, and other nervous behaviors like licking his lips. He's been the first to look away at the end of the face off, every time. Maybe none of that will mean anything tomorrow night when they fight, but if I bet on Adesanya I'd start feeling nervous right about now.

I see he's going to miss a lot trying to hit Izzy with all the footwork, stance switches, angles, and also feints from different angles. This will result in Alex being heavily countered and possibly dropped or finished. You can go look back on the Bruno fight and see that committed strikes landed on Peiera, and although he seems to have a good chin, all it takes is one from either guy. He also leaves himself quite open, but people don't take risks and try to land on him because of his counter-left hook from the 9 levels of hell. Izzy exploited this and was standing and banging with him, and he nearly finished Alex, but harder hitters are always favored in inside fighting and got sent to the shadow realm.

Izzy's approach to this fight is interesting. He said he will talk less and expressed that Pereira is piggybacking on his achievements. His calmness reminds me of Fedor Emelianenko; detaching from the noise and focused on what's ahead. You do see him wrestling it here and there as is expected when first trying.
Not an expert, just my opinion, but Izzy looks a bit off, I don't know if he's trying to hide something but he walked a bit labored stepping on the stage for the weigh in.
Not saying anything about confidence, just his physical signs, and It could well be nothing, just caught my eye the way he moved on the official weigh in, not the ceremonial.

Izzy's approach to this fight is interesting. He said he will talk less and expressed that Pereira is piggybacking on his achievements. His calmness reminds me of Fedor Emelianenko; detaching from the noise and focused on what's ahead. You do see him wrestling it here and there as is expected when first trying.
