I cannot tell you, Kurt, how much peace and calm you bring to my days through the nostalgia of my youth and the good work you do. I was born in 1974 and the 80s and 90s are part of my being. Dream Warriors was the first Nightmare on Elm Street I saw because my strict parents wouldn't let me see the first ones---I was old enough by this time, 7th grade, to ride my bike with my friend TJ to the theater to see it (told my parents we were going to see "Hoosiers"). Great video as always, and thanks for all you do.
Kurt! Another great video! I can always count on you to show me around my favorite place….this week especially because my little trip to LA fell through that I had planned. Thank you for all the work you put into these videos, they truly make my day!
I have been watching the Freddie movies with my son the last week since he is old enough. We just watched 3 and 4 last weekend. Another great filming location video.
I totally agree with you. This was one of the better Freddie movies, not quite as good as the first, but a definite improvement on the second. And quite scary too!
Yeah right on! Part 3 was also my favorite, and I think a lot of others would agree. Had a good time following you around on MAPS as always! Would love to see a Prince of Darkness tour while it's the horror season!
Although the other ones are good Part 3 is also my favorite of the franchise. Thank you for doing this video most people don't cover filming locations for this one.Great video.
Maaaan! You guys are so lucky living there (movie wise etc)! I live like a 5 minute walk from the irl Titanic grave yard. That's about it for movie stuff around here that I can think of.
youre the first person ive ever heard say this is your favorite especially over the original. i personally like the first one the best, same with all horror movie franchises. happy halloween!! which is by the way the best horror movie of all time imo
My favorite Nightmare on Elm Street movie as well. Just seeing that building on UCLA's campus gives me the willies. Also, if that is Kid Crucial's remix theme song at the start of all these Halloweens videos, it's great.
It's the best Nightmare movie. And I love the fact ypu can watch Part One, Part Three, and The New Nightmare. And you get a complete story. I'm not counting 4 as part of the complete story. 4 and 5 is Alice's saga Dream Warriors really covered that dark and gritty mental hospital feel. Ive always wanted to see a spin off story of the aftermath of the events. How could you possibly explain those dearhs.. How can you even explain a suicide with your head through a tv that is higher than you..
St Brendans Church has two side entrances that are always open. When I lived in KTown, that was the church I went to and the side entrances were easier to use since they were closer to the parking lot and what is up with the landscaping at the cemetery? its nothing but weeds
I’m going to meet Robert England and Amanda wis and Rodney blaikly at the motor city comic con i used to live in Los Angeles born there and I remember my brothers took me to the movies when a nightmare on elm street 1984 I was 11 years old had nightmares fir a week love there movies
Yea bro the elm street house was built on a sett soundstage to resemble the one on Genesee street..,they only used the location of the elm street house on Genesee street for Nightmare s 1 and 2 Freddy's Revenge..and Nightmare 7 Wes cravens new Nightmare for the exterior shot . All the other sequel s were replica built on a sett sound stage. And for Freddy verses Jason they actually found a lookalike identical house in Canada somewhere, which totally looked like it was the actual elm street house in L A on Genesee street..they got lucky while scouting around their location of filming in Canada..amazing cause even the street that they used and found that lookalike house that stood in for the 1428 elm street nancy house, did look like it was Genesee street in CA...i think it was a good choice if u watch Freddy verses Jason again. You'll take notice and see for yourself ,even the interior where the stair case is by the door ..
I was literally watching this movie yesterday during AMC FearFest and was thinking what if Kurt does a video on locations of this movie in the future, and this is the first video that popped up on my feed today. Keep up the great work! 😎
The first three NOES movies were so California I'm not sure I realized until Freddy's Dead it was supposed to be Ohio. I know Halloween had a few palm trees but jeesh.
churches used to be open most of the time back in the day when we had a high trust society. but not anymore, sadly. everything is locked up especially in CA. my starbucks doesnt put out any creamers, napkins etc and my mcdonalds has nothing out for the public, no soda machine no refills, no condiments. nothing.

Legendary movie's that's going to be showing marathon

Dream Warriors. Best of all time!
I love seeing all of the filming locations..I wish there were actual filming locations for one of my favorite 80’s horror films “Motel Hell”
3 and 5 have the best dream sequences
My favorite Nightmare on Elm Street movie as well. Just seeing that building on UCLA's campus gives me the willies. Also, if that is Kid Crucial's remix theme song at the start of all these Halloweens videos, it's great.
My fav Nightmare also! Taryn was fiiiiiine! 😂
Must say that the mysterious nun age very well for being a 24-year-old movie. lol
What a enjoyable watch as always. OOP's back to work -- it's 12.30
I remember seeing Part 3 in the theater when I was 12 👍
I’m a huge fan of the NES game and it’s based on Part III so I’ve always had a special spot for this movie.
That Samurai is so dope. First dibs if you ever sell.
4:15 Hey that's actor Craig Wasson from the 1984 thriller movie "Body Double" also starring a young Melanie Griffith
aps amazing !! love freddy michael and jason ..nothing will come close to these slashers ,i totaly forgot Nancy died LOOOL the end of the video haha
Good video looks like some of the sense you tried to match up looks like we're the did some sense of Freddy vs Jason
That church looks like thr church in prince of darkness is it?
Dream Warriors is the best.
Church people “here he comes again, lock the doors”
This and the original are the best in the series.
Nice!!!
Man, that Nun looks like your SON.
The actress that played the old nun played neighbor Freida Klaxton on a memorable episode of the Golden Girls.
Got my Freddy sweater ready to go tomorrow \m/
It's the best Nightmare movie. And I love the fact ypu can watch Part One, Part Three, and The New Nightmare. And you get a complete story.

Have u covered Carrie yet? That was filmed in the la area as well
I've still yet to see this and Forrest Gump
Shameful, I know.
Kurt, have you ever tried to find the filming locations for the 1980s movie losin it?
sucks when trees are now blocking the view, also sucks when trees are cut down
Is that the same cemetery used in the movie Mask? Where they do Rocky’s funeral?
❤❤❤
Big Respect 🫡 80’s and Man Dude Larry Fishburne or Rather Lawrence or Laurence

Yeah, man.... Jimmy'Z!!!
Dream Warriors is one of my favorites of the franchise. I have all the movies. (Except for the new garbage one)
Kurt you have to do a John Carpenter’s Prince of Darkness location video.
He’ll always be, Jason “Furious” Styles, to me
I always thought that also. Maybe it’s changed since the homeless issues
What a difference to a nice looking graveyard with green grass, to now, nobody cares, graveyard
We need your new theme song on a 7"
Robert England is a good acotor played Freddy good
Get out of my car... Get back here! 🤣😂
1987 was peak Dokken
