- The MTT, Multi-Troop Transport did a lot more than just deliver B1 battledroids. Over the Clone Wars the Separatist Droid Army would adapt these to deliver B2 Super Battledroids, Droidekas and supplies in the struggle against the Republic. See a complete breakdown and cross-section.

The Luchrehulk, STAP, AAT and MTT made me love the Trade Federation and CIS the moment I saw them. I’d say the CIS is possibly my favorite faction in Star Wars just based off of the vehicles.
I loved the droid Trade Federation aesthetics in The Phantom Menace.
There was also another droid transport used, it was called the Battle Droid Troop Carrier.

@@cigarpringles1890 It was a special weapon built similarly to an AAT, look up the first season of Star Wars the Clone Wars tv-series. It could shoot shells into a distance like artillery that burned a limited area at a time, destroying anything that could burn within that perimeter. The weapon did what the name implied "defoliate".

Oh man, seeing the TF army roll up to the Naboo fields with AATs and MTTs was the coolest thing ever.
You never really saw the empire roll out in huge total war fashion.
Oh and when all the droids activate?! MAN
I can't say how many times I have tried to destroy this thing in Battlefront II.

I can imagine a random trader using the MTT as his or her personal cargo transport in a former CIS controlled planet.
From what I can see, they can be a perfect armored vehicle for supplies transportation.

They should have had some LAAT laser pods attached to the sides and proton torpedo turrets on the top to tackle enemy star fighters. Now that would have been a force to be reckoned with.
Only 12 super battle droids, even stowed standing up, sounds like an insanely low number of troops to carry into battle for such a huge transport. It’s a very, very inefficient use of space.
Star Wars stats for both Legends and Canon are notoriously inconsistent.
The Gladiator class for example carries only 24 fighters. Yet it's almost as large as a Venator.

I am an American and I can confirm we measure stuff this way.
Well, the freedom tank is a good way to measure things
I suspect the Clone Wars variation was shorter due to the altered troop deployment making some of the extra internal space superfluous, so they cut down the height and lengthened it a bit to squeeze in a few more droids.
In the clone wars season 7 we see that these things have headlights, but oddly enough we don’t see any external lights on them.
might be a late war add on with the lights under armored panels?
Pop out lights are a good possibility as well.

The opening sequence/beginning of the Battle of Naboo has more visual appeal and clarity than the entire Disney trilogy.

As a world of tanks player, I can't help but imagine the tank destroyer version. Pretty sure you can fit AT-AT guns in the front if you remove the Droid rack and turn the circular front hatch into a gun mantlet. Add extra point defences, and what you get is a super land battleship, combining the features of an AT-AT with features of more mobile/versatile vehicles.
I was thinking of side ways deployment droideka varient and fire support guns at front but as a fellow Wotb player this is a great idea but it dosent have the speed , something like the imperial troop transport (boxy hover transport things from rebels and mandalorian series) maybe increased in size can work as tank destroyer i think
A reliable transportation weapon system for the Confederacy of Independent Systems Droid Army, and considering their usage during the Clone Wars the efficacy is truly stated. These are tough and hardly and difficult to destroy, and the B1 battle droids are a very weak infantry unit they definitely benefited having this heavy transport. The CIS clearly favor this transport for every thing it bring out to the battlefront, but they could have at least fix the speed issue.
It will be cool to see some jawas using one of this "veeery modified one" on the imperial or post imperial era like a floating version of the sandcrawler...
I let you fellow gentlemen to imagine in what kind of planet would be an advantage for this repulsor behemoths.

That’s interesting. I always thought that the MTT was a sentient machine like a vulture droid. Especially since they were always on a set path. But they were just vehicles with smart navigation.

@@jessehorn6180 You cant believe what happened a few days ago i was building a new cis vehicle out of legos like a prototype and it was an mtt that yes had its cannon but most importantly this giant super weapon on top that can be fired on different powers it can literally make a mega hole shooting at high power and then i saw this comment.

must remember that the trade federation could legally own military equipment to "defend their shipments" so palpatine used them to invade Naboo and force them to sign off on a treaty saying it was a legal invasion to what I assume was recover lost goods.

the only thing this great pice of work is missing is the top turret for protection from flanks and air. Otherwise it would be awesome. Also the speed could be little bit higher but almost every vehicle in star wars is slower then it should be or even often appears to be so probably not a design issue but more like a writer inconsistency.

an MTT is like the p.1000 ratte German tank look it up it’s massive
35 long and 11 tall for the proposed Ratte vs 31/35.6 long and 13/10.54 tall for this thing. Pretty close. Makes you wonder if that's a coincidence.
ChakatBlackstar they are both pretty Similar the mtt had to be escorted by aats and the ratte if invented would probably would have to be escorted by panzer 4s or other German tanks they but the only difference is the mtt where meant for the troops to pew pew at enemies but the ratte was for making all bad guys in a base into dead guys in a base

They could probably be modified to carry other models of droids like commando droids (although some wouldn’t make sense to be carried by them like tactical droids a bunch of them wouldn’t be the best to attack the enemy)

Why is it that it seems like there's two different sizes of this like the ones that were in phantom menace were much larger than the ones that they had to rapidly produce to refill and replace them during the clone wars because the droids and characters walking next to them just don't match up to what they were in The phantom menace

My character in 7 days to die is a clanker. He wears heavy armor while my friend's character wears padded armor for stealth.
