She got pipes but dynamics is not well constructed. She got pippes and whats good in her is that she does not hurt my ear cause she have a good timber in head voice which she masters.

George really truly appreciated her gift and wouldn't take it for granted like the others coaches who had a bunch of huge voices on their teams. I was so glad she chose George. They needed each other. They both had something to prove.

How in the hell can this woman not have a record contract? Her voice is strong rich and beyond beautiful. She also has a striking stage presents. At the risk of being politically incorrect, she is stunning to watch. Someone give her a long term record deal for gods sake!

@@m1rac1e Sadly, I agree with you, but, for me personally, I think it's a shame that it doesn't. I'm a 72 yr. old ex-hippie and have listened to all kinds of music over the yrs. and believe that there is pure beauty in every music genre which shouldn't be "seasonal" or "generational".

Like the competition is too difficult to just get in for having a good voice.

I'll tell you why it can be. Her traits can be a problem. Her personality can.You will not make it unless you are a hard worker. She could be difficult to work with, she could be a quitter type. She could be too fragile - not enough backbone, cause you are gonna get smacked down 99 times out of a 100.
And another thing. She has an exceptionally technically gifted voice, but she lacks soul and personality. If you hear her on the radio you probably can't her it's her right away.
Without uniqueness, you are just a good session musician - a choir girl.

I'm not Australian, I don't watch the Voice Australia live, I had no idea she had won 2019, but when I heard her audition I immediately knew she'd win. This woman has one of the most amazing voices I've ever heard, it is insane, how did anyone ever tell her she was shit, what kind of craziness is that ?
Some record executives with no vocal ability like to punish those who do. Why? There are assholes everywhere in the world, aka haters. Diana you are a diamond from Australia! Good luck- you’ve earned it! 💕 from 🇺🇸 🥰
@@matthewmangum6320 It’s not about talent. All we have to do is look at Cardi B. to understand that. It is about who and what are you willing to do for a record contract and label. That will never change. We will just have to settle for shows like ‘The Voice’ that give artists a chance to display their talents. Some songs are available for purchase and that gives us another way to enjoy the artists that we become fans of. After all the music industry is still a business and there are only so many musicians and singers who will be able to get a contract. At least she did win!!! So many others lost a competition to a less talented singers. That has to be even more disheartening and discouraging for those who gave their all. Bright side of things is that we get to see vocalists that we would not get to see otherwise!!!🤗
Okay I was driving crazy when she sang "Never Enough" 'cause I really love that song, but I got worse when I heard "Hallelujah" and "I Will Always Love You". I mean, she can sing whatever she wants because her voice is unbelievable. I'm such a fan now, thank you for posting in a video her story ♥️

Diana captivated me from the beginning with Vision of Love. Her vocals are amazing! Her duet with George was so gut wrenching. I love that song and George just totally surprised me. Absolute magic!
He pushed her vocals while holding her heart and soul, mending the pain of rejection and lost chances....

I've been watching Voice videos from all over the world for months. There are many, many supremely talented singers out there, but for me no one else comes close to Diana. She not only has the range, the tone, the control and the power to knock any song out of the park, but she also brings extraordinary interpretive ability. In each note you hear every hard-won inch of the difficult journey she's taken. I feel privileged every time I hear her sing. She also has a magnetic physical presence onstage, and a face you can't stop looking at. She's the whole package and then some.
I'd also like to say that while watching so many videos I've gradually developed a great respect for Boy George as a coach. He presents a very deceptive face to the public. I initially didn't take him seriously because on the surface he doesn't take himself seriously, always clowning and joking and goofing around. He's a genuinely warm and funny guy. But he's also a highly intelligent musician who knows what he's doing. He deeply cares about the music and is committed to seeing every contestant succeed, not only his own team. He insists each one reach their very best and he's extremely perceptive in working out what they need to get there. For all that, I respect him.

Thank you!!! 99% of the people who modify that vowel don’t need to! For some reason they seem to believe “meh” is the correct way to sing it because the original singer, a former Voice US contestant, sang those notes.
Her voice, her control, her looks, she is so amazing. All things happen for a reason. Maybe she went to the school of hard knocks when she was young so she could stand up there today and be vulnerable. George brought out her best side.
Oh, hearing the duet, just makes me cry. Her winning was worth a lifetime.

Not necessarily mentally ill, but they cant love, they cannot collaborate, and they hate on everyone who could change these things. However, some of us try to change things. We might go under, but at least we know we've lived, and that we have done our utmost best.

@@Sirbananasir I watched Jessie J - fantastic in China with a full orchestra and backing vocalists - then I saw her in a shopping mall with just a guitarist and she was just as great.

My goodness. Her voice is huge, she's huge. One of the most beautiful voices Ive ever listened to. It's possible to draw a comparison with all diva that comes in mind. The last person I saw singing "I'll always love you" in that way was Jessie J last year. All Diva's performance was everything. I've only watched to other participants' performances and always think "why could this person not win the show?!" And that's the answer: the only one who could possibly win this season is definitely her, without doubt
No song is the wrong song for Diana, quite literally. She never hits 1 note that is unappealing not in the slightest, every song, without fail. I have no idea what person in her past didn't appreciate her talent, I cant imagine that moment, honestly though, sucks for them lol. She's a gift to have in our era, her talent is timeless.
The performance with George was crazy, I loved it. I'm glad he chose her. She's fantastic and was the best.

What a beautiful pair and the honor of performing with Boy George is immense. Two beautiful voices in a beautiful performance. So glad she won. She deserves the recognition. I love George's heart and understanding of the fear and insecurities. He can really pull the best out if his artists.
I love how it showed some of the behind the scenes and conversations with George. He really does relate so well with different sides of the business and his team members. I'm sure it isn't easy to completely trust in all of someone's decisions for your journey, and she did. I've heard others where they clash and end up doing what they want instead and not always succeeding. He shares so much with them that could really help them.
