I love music, but often I just can't listen to Woman singer's. My sister is legally deaf (she can hear some tones but mostly reads lips) I am on a whole diff spectrum.... It's kinda funny bc if there is a clock, or my phone charger with in 25 feet of me. I drives me crazy. I move all my Mum's clocks when I visit.. So to hear Anja hit those notes so.... perfect.. I was flabbergasted that I could listen to such Range!!! Exciting! It's sad we haven't seen her!! She's still young at 22 - 23 hopefully we'll see her again!!!
Will.I.AM did amazing as her coach...the difference from her blind audition to her final song...she made the right choice in picking him.

It was a good song choice for Anja, and a poor choice for Kelley. Kelley was good, but she couldn't do that one run. I can only assume that Will chose that song to eliminate Kelley.

The girl has soul in her and her voice is so powerful for just 18 years. That still blows me away when hearing her sing. No offense to the late greats, but don’t know if they were such power houses at that age. This girl is close caliber to them in their prime. So imagine when she hits hers😳. She is going to be a force to be reckoned with. Hope she makes it mainstream. She has real talent.

Holy Cheezits, this young woman is a powerhouse!!! She did such an amazing job, worked so hard, her rifts were great. Will did such a fantastic coach for Anja, choices for songs, and making her hold the note longer. He knows what he's doing, and he made phenomenal decisions for her. She took Whitney's song and made it her own, I got goosebumps, that doesn't happen often. She's really, really good!!!

She has such a beautiful voice. It's soulful, powerful, but carries so much emotion, Will.i.am was right when he said she has the whole package. He was definitely the best coach for her, I love his enthusiasm, and passion that he shows to his contestants, he's like a proud parent. Plus with his unique style and musicality, the way he just seems to see/ hear things in a way others don't makes him a great producer and coach. Also, did anyone else notice that by the end she was taking 'silent' breaths? 😂 🎤 👏 👍
Anja Nissen, you are a phenomenal singer! You do not need to sound like any other singer - you are awesome! I 💖 your voice!
She has Great Potential to be like Whitney and Beyoncé. She will get better and better, as she continues to sing... WiLL, done a Great Job as her coach.
What was with Will showing her off to Apple and then him saying oh I was expecting a black girl. That was kind of creepy. She turned really red. It must have made her feel awkward. I thought who does that? Can you imagine two white guys meeting with an eighteen year old black girl and saying "oh...I was expecting a white girl"? Wouldn't that be weird? I'm sure she would feel strange, awkward and uncomfortable. Can she not sing anyway she wants, any song she wants? Any thoughts on this?
It's the type of voice she has lots of tone , soul depth
anon amous I don’t see what’s the problem with two black men in the music industry or even if they weren’t to say that a White woman sounds like a black girl when she sings. She knows it’s the ultimate compliment. And she does sound Black and she knows it and anyone who hears her sing knows it.
@@Orlanzepol123 She sounds how she sounds. Just coach her. If she was comfortable with the comment she wouldn't have blushed. She's a teenager. It is obvious it made her feel awkward and uncomfortable.He paraded her out from behind a curtain like she was a circus freak. It was just a little strange. I didn't hear will I i am's associate offer her any advice. What was he there for? What was the point of displaying her to him? I think her singing is sincere and comes from the heart. I don't think it's a gimmick. She is a good singer period. I think the world would be missing out if she was made to feel that she didn't have the right to sing how she sings. I'm really really glad that Will i am didn't make her feel that way in the end. I wasn't sure where he was going with it there for a minute. Maybe she didn't know either. In the end he coached her and I think she has something amazing to offer the world. All good. It all worked out.
@@anonamous6968 I don't see how that's weird or creepy either way. It's just uncommon. Her style of singing does sound black. I just watched one of these video of a biracial (black,white) woman and her style of singing sounded typical of a white woman. I hope you get what I mean.

On her blinds I was like: "I can't believe she won"; but she changed my mind, song after song. Last two performances were like... WOW! @Will.I.am did such an amazing job. I always knew he was one of the best global coaches in the show, but didn't expect him to be that good. That's ridiculous. I'm happy for Australia!

The difference between this young lady and other people who have sung this song, is she sang it, not screamed it. A big difference to my ears.
I just have to say that I have NEVER enjoyed a Coach as much as I enjoy Will.I.AM!! He is the most remarkable coach anyone could dream of!! Will, you ARE what the WORLD needs in loving all people regardless of their lineage, color, and differences in people just ARE NOT being seen. I just can't say enough. He is a show within himself and all he's doing is WORKING!! WILL, I LOVE YOU!!
The greatest gift of all was that Anja was as great a contestant that WILL.I.AM was as her coach! THAT doesn't come to the forum very often!! What a pair of WINNERS!!

I don't mind when people say that someone "sounds like" or "reminds" them of someone else. What bothers me is when people say that someone is "the greatest". The beauty of greatness is that it doesn't confine itself to one artist, one group, one genre; greatness is just that, great. This girl is the total package: fantastic voice, beautiful face, incredible body and, more importantly, a passion for what she's doing. The voice and the passion should be the only things an artist should be judged on but, hey, this is show biz and the other two go a long way in today's media driven entertainment industry. I'd love to hear more from this girl.
She has all it takes to be a famous singer! She's beautiful inside and out but most of all is that voice of her's which what makes a song sound so great! May God bless 🙏 you and your family 🥰

I thought it was funny that he thought that. Different ethnicities have noticeably different tones. I think that's neat, that different cultures and heritages can be heard in the voice.

btw. since when does australia belong to europe? as far as I know, australia always wanted to disconnect with it's brittish conections. and GB is taking of europe soon. so all this makes no sense to me. but for Anja - she's fantastic. one of the best voices on this globe
@@michi24580 It has something to do with them collaborating with the EBU (european broadcasting union) for over 30 years. It's a bit complicated. But as for Anja, she competed for Denmark!

Australia also has a long broadcast history of having the contest aired on their turf so they're most familiar with the contest than any other country outside the European Broadcasting Zone. Speaking of broadcasting zone, any full-member of the EBU can take part if they are found within the aforementioned European Broadcasting Zone, so countries such as Morocco and Iraq can also take part if they want to (which Morocco did long ago).
Other non-full EBU members have also taken part in other Eurovision branded events: Canada and Kosovo took part in Eurovision Young Dancers, and Kazakhstan was invited to to participate in last year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest alongside Australia. :)

@@ronaldmaxey7476 didn't it say she was a wild card? That means he didn't pick her at some point then put her back in again. (Must have been another amazing singer.) He did a great job however of helping her and I love his energy and celebration when she won. He truly did believe in her talent and made it about her not himself. That's what makes him an amazing coach - his knowledge of what it takes, his pure joy and ability to find ways to learn and improve even a phenomenal talent while encouraging and supporting.
I saw that back flip! He is so much fun and can also be very serious which is why he is where is today! He does such a great job choosing his singers!

He was sincere, and it`s more valuable than someone`s beloved politeness/tactfulness. In case someone hasn`t noticed, "the other girl" :) didn`t hit that important riff right and then she winked at Will proudly as if she did it well! :)) So, that means she couldn`t even hear that she failed :)))). It might also have been the adrenaline of the battle or smth :), but still, - that looked quite silly and overconfident from HER side. So, maybe Will was just getting his little revenge :))). - No, I`m just kidding, he really just wanted to let that girl know some truth about herself, which can be very helpful, btw.
