From my experience with in Canada, its never as simple as "don't break the law". Every day, it has become increasingly easier to unintentionally commit crimes, merely by mis-gendering someone or just expressing an opinion that offends them in any such way to be construed as hate speech. All you have to do is post something online which gives the thought-police a reason to investigate you. Like the Ontario woman who shared a video about having an issue with certain ethnicities digging holes at the public beach & defecating in them. Sure enough, the OPP came knocking at her door in no time. And, as we know, the hate speech bills that Parliament is proposing today can even be enforced retroactively... As long as thought-crimes are a thing in Canada, you could be searched for pretty much any reason.
I'm from Canada and I EDC a provoke, it is masterful at helping me with my work, its functionally similar to a banana knife but way better, I use it for drywall, Insulation, vapor barriers, so many things. I've shown it to police and when I explain what its for they're like, makes sense, cool knife and asked where I got it, two weeks later I seen him with the first responder version. Edit: Mine is even the one with the Veff Serrations. Albeit I do own a Provoke EDC, that I don't EDC lol.
Great video but it's vague so it's about intent in the end. There is no reason to carry a 12 dagger and what are you carrying you folding pocket knife for??? Don't say defence
Great video. What do you understand regarding knives that seem to be legally sold in Canada but, don't appear to be legal to possess? You can buy a CKRT Endorser at Bass Pro, however, that certainly seems to violate possession laws (unless you have a prohibited weapon licence).
I know, it’s all pretty stupid. I’ve gotten to the point where I stopped caring. Unless it’s an obvious one I just disregard. At the end of the day, if you are being searched you have bigger problems.
Damn.
It's good to be a Texan.
I’m jealous of you!

I’ve got a provoke. Great knife.
From my understanding, you need to be charged with a crime in order for rcmp to search you?
Amazing video! One question though, what knife is that silver glossy knife?
And also, where do you purchase your knives from?
