Gentlemen, it’s been a true pleasure enjoying your entire Killer Instinct reaction series over the last 2.5 or 3 hours. I’ve also read all the comments left to see if anyone managed to inform you that each track does not start at “FIGHT” and just play through. Rather, the game looks at what is happening to the action and life totals and actually shifts to a different section (or movement) in the track, heightening the tension as you try to survive (or as you proceed to pummel your opponent).
Killer Instinct is a game that is extremely big on rhythm and feel, which lets you respond to actions and attacks as they hit so you can counterattack with a combo breaker or counter-counterattack their combo breaker. Since sound is and has always been an integral component of all three iterations of KI, music is there to enhance that experience, which is why so many tracks have rises and lulls: to literally actively customize your experience each fight while not getting too much in the way of hearing that rhythm of attacking (which would ultimately piss off players because you need to be able to see and hear to react to your opponent’s actions).
Sorry for the wall, and seriously: thanks for giving my favorite OST some love. You definitely earned this metal head gamer’s sub. Finally, POLEMOS IS THE BEST!
Very glad to have you as a subscriber. I find the adaptive music according to gameplay a very coo feature and actually a bit unsurprising after hearing the flow ov the songs and also knowing that a similar thing happens with the DOOM soundtrack. Polemos was one ov my favourites as well! /Andrei
Interesting fact: Gargos is the one who split Eyedol's head waaaay in the past, and Kan-ra resurrected Eyedol to help against the fight against Gargos in present day.

I think it would be really fun to go to orcestra style concert where they play all things like this. That would be really cool! Also Andre, I'm not trying to be rude or anything...I can never catch Mr. Cool skulls name when you say it! It happens so quick! Another thing I wanted to ask you both, do you think you may be able to do a reaction to Little Sunshine from ghost? It's been out for a while now but imo it's SUCH a good song!!!
The skull is called Couscous! Dunno how the more electronic sounding stuff would translate to orchestra but still, big chunks of this soundtrack could benefit from the adaptation. I'll write down Little Sunshine, will see if we get to it! / George
