  • Trudy from Utah heard in a sermon recently that God looks at her "as if" she's righteous. It gave here the impression that God is faking Himself out when it comes to her.
Is God only pretending you are righteous? Or has a fundamental transformation occurred within you that actually made you righteous? Is your righteousness merely "imputed" (credited) or has it been "imparted" (given) to you?
Find out the truth in this short video clip. Enjoy!

He who knew no sin, became sin, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

The Greek is sin offering in 2 Corinthian5:21
Christ can take sin from us as a sin bearer and as a sin atoner..
Christ doesn’t become a legal sinner or an actual sinner.
He just takes sin off you that’s what the sin bearer and sin offering does..
He touches a dead man.. and not only doesn’t exchange his life for death.. but remains alive but brings the dead man alive. And so with skin disease and bleeding issues etc.. Jesus doesn’t even become ceremonially unclean but touching these people.. but makes the victim ceremonial clean the very moment.
      So it is impartation…
Double imputation is a 16th century concept that was never believed east or west prior to that.. You can read and good church historian worth his salt on it

Here is a scripture that I’ve been looking at lately and wondering about. Romans 4:5 And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness. (Notice how it says “his faith” is counted as righteousness.) So I’m just wondering does anybody have any insight into this scripture? Is there a difference between “us” being righteous and “our faith” counted as righteous?

Who does not WORK the mosaic Laws but by Faith in Christ.....but I wouldn’t assume that our Faith in Christ will be devoid of any Work or else it would be a mere lip service professing of Faith.

We are his workmanship. Not the result of our workmanship resulting in a non biblical impartation.

      Mark 3:28-30
“Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”- because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit”
You didn’t accuse Jesus of having an unclean spirit. You can relax and enjoy the time you spend with our Savior.

There is no imparted righteousness. Rom 5:13
(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
Im dead to law so I cant even receive imputed sin!

There is no such thing as imparted righteousness. Newer doctrine like John Wesley can only imply this. It's just another doctrine to satisfy the flesh. We grow IN grace! Growing in grace isn't impartation.

And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness

@bop-ya-good " and hope does not put us to shame for God's love has been " poured out into us" through the Spirit which has been given to us " romans 5:5. Term poured out is translated in the Latin as infundere which is where we get the word infused
