This sounded amazing! One of the best live performances of Star Trek Into Darkness I've heard yet. Michael Giacchino's new Star Trek theme is fantastic. I can't imagine how it sounds in person.
@@tafdiz I agree. A loud mess unless the audio recording setup was poor. I dont think so.
It is by far the best piece of Star Trek music by Maestro Michael Giacchino, after decades from the original series..
Not only it reflects the feel of original Star Trek's soul as a classic "majeur" melody, it has a great "mineur" one , which is so dark and rich in every possible way..
Space the final frontier.
These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise.
It's continuing mission,To explore strange new worlds,to seek out new life and new civilizations.
*To* *boldly* *go* *where* *no* *man* *has* *gone* *before* .
Wow! I could visualize the Enterprise triumphantly rising through the clouds!!
I love how the Into Darkness Star Trek sounds old school yet is original and fits with Star Trek TOS style. Chris Pine and Zach Quinto will never be expected to be the original guys who started these characters but are the new faces to give these characters life. They sort have got lucky like ballet dancers or soap stars. Ballet dancers and soap actors aren't expected to do a role the same way someone else portrayed it.
Libby E. Greenleaf i actually think Chris Pine is a better Kirk than The OG guy who played him, ( i srsly cannot remember his name) is it William Shatner? But no one can beat Leonard Nimoy
@@paragbasu8163 true that
Michael, you frikkin nailed it! AWESOME addition to the Star Trek Themes!
Great composition, would love to hear this live 😄
This sound quality is sickeningly good
Glad you like it! I am the audio director on the project :-)
ImagiNation sounds absolutely amazing!
@@imagination4004 A LOUD mess. Why did the conductor let them run away with it... or did you adjust the volume?
@@CommonCentsRob I love the crescendo/decrescendo quality and change flux of tempo. For someone who has watched the movie more than 30 times (I’m sure), it directly matches the suspense, the action, glorious show of the starship, etc.!
ugh my heart. its amazing what music can do
Yeah I know; I love it! :^D
CAPTAIN I’VE PICKED UP ANOTHER SHIP!!!

“Captain i’m giving her all she’s got!” (Me in the audience): Heh that’s what she said
Outstanding ensemble balance! Clean as a whistle too. Bravo!
uma interação perfeita entre a musica e o filme. muito show.
Thanks for posting! Wonderful! Bravo!
That 'Deep Bass Drum' was the correct choice & gave the score an epic-movie like feel.
Bravo! Great arrangement like the ‘End Credits’ which nobody has that sheet music. I have the ‘Into Darkness’ sheet music for my organ and attempting to incorporate the orchestra into it, much practice is needed.
why didn't you show the timpani at the best moments
Spectacular!!!!!
De fiecare dată am pielea de găină când reascult această minunată capodoperă!

Michael Giacchino appears to be the heir apparent to John Williams and James Horner. So far I am pleased
Heartstopping!
very good!
Wish to play once with this orchestra
Great! Love it!
To quote the inimitable Peter Griffin..."Sweet."
something Cartman would say :D
Simplesmente sensacional!
Simply Epic !!!!!!!!!
Perfection.....
.
How great! I just happy I can download this
Edit: not anymore RUclips messed up and say premium required :(
Ma'an suffice to say, none of the other, what ? 5..4 versions found here on RUclips, had the what ? "Prophonic" Low Bass Drum' struck as rightly-so as this musician gentleman did, at the perfect most sweet spot & as well with the correct most Skin tension accorded the instrument. Koodos Mr., Sir, my respects, Kudos.
It's Fascinating !
And quite logical to be so😆
The beginning For this song it goes
Low brass: bing bong bing bong boo
High winds: hajdjdoenenskekskswmskdsma BING
Superb
the conductor looked like he was a wizard
(being serious) If you had to control ±120 musicians, you might look like a Wizard too!
Who am I? I thought he was Chekhov when I first saw him...don’t ask
🇧🇷 🖖🖖🖖 GOSTEI. Obrigada por compartilhar. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Star trek>>>>>star wars
🖖
Wow
Why didn't the guy at the beginning thank lil Xan? He's the biggest influence on music.
The ghostwriter for many movies usually writes music to go along with his screenplays. That is the case here.

I'm listening with studio monitors and there is something strange with the recording. I hear something like it is gloomy, not brilliant, reverberated.

This is Actualy same in the movie
Монтаж плохой, где литавры, на самых лучших моментах. Просто рандомнвемкадрв не соответствуют музыке
My name is..khan
качество звука говно
Doesn't hit me as emotionally as pre Kelvin star trek music does
