Here are the tracks in order: 0:01 TOS main titles (Alexander Courage) 1:33 DS9 main titles (Dennis McCarthy) 2:46 Theme from The Inner Light (TNG) (Jay Chattaway) 4:04 Star Trek Generations Overture (Dennis McCarthy) 5:43 Star Trek Voyager main titles (Jerry Goldsmith) 7:08 Star Trek TNG main titles / TMP main titles (Alexander Courage / Jerry Goldsmith)
Star Trek and its theme music always provide a message of hope, peace and a vision of the way the world should be. Thank you for this beautiful medley! :)
The thing with Star Trek is that it never leaves you, no matter what happens you become attached to the show and the characters in it. This is because the storylines are played so well that you yourself get attached, like a good book. Star Wars, on the other hand, focuses on the conflict, and people don’t really link with it as well as they do with Star trek
It sounded like some instruments were missing in places - as if the audio recording didn't pick everyone up as it should - but besides that, it's so beautiful to listen to! I must say, around the 4 min mark - I jumped with excitement!
I truly love the theme at 4:03, it's from Star Trek Generations and I have always found it uplifting. Nice to see it being performed live. The Voyager theme also sounds wonderful being played live.
This video is fantastic! Say what you will about Star Trek, but it has always had beautiful music. You will cheer at the end of this orchestra's performance.
This was great although the transcriptions are a little off. Wrong notes here and there in the sheet music really can play games with an ear accustomed to the original recordings. LOL
Jerry Goldsmith is the architect behind most of the music of Star Trek, but not the only one. And, by the way, Picard´s flute is a classic tune from one of the great composers... Anyone's guess??
absolutely agree! Never understood why so-called Trekkies didn't like and support this great Star Trek retrospective show with my boy, Scott Bakula and a wonderful cast, great stories and fantastic theme song! I loved it!!
I would definatly go to a symphony more often if i could hear stuff like this, especailly "the inner light" that is one of the most beautiul pieces of music I ever heard
I love this. It just goes to show that star trek is not only an american phenominon but a global one. I gaurantee If et is out there they are giving praise to this particular piece aswell.
I don't recognize some of the tunes but I like how the "sound" of Star Trek music is present in this entire piece (the instruments and how they are played).
William Henry Curry is the most cheerfully jolly conductor I have ever seen :D. There is a man that LOVES his job :D. I haven't seen a conductor that happy since the end of Mr Holland's Opus :D.
This was just fantastic - I think perhaps the best Star Trek compilation to be found on RUclips. This is a world class orchestra IMHO. Thanks so much for posting this, and can we see more of this organization?
The Conductor would be William Henry Curry in his dramatic awesomeness, not only has he conducted over forty orchesteras, but he's still going strong. Even better, he enjoys it with a cheerfulness that is infectious :D. Awesomeness :D. I've never seen a man so happy in his work :-).
I like all the Star Trek series. I have watched every Star Trek episide, movie, cartoon, clip what ever I can find. I agree people should stop bashing different series/movies. I like Voyager and Deep space 9. I watched voyager so much I almost felt Tom paris and Janeway and Harry Kim were part of my family.
An absolutely marvellous performance that I enjoyed very much indeed, especially when listening with high quality headphones which I highly recommend. The transition from one theme to the next was beautifully done, especially the lead-in to my favourite of them all, 'Voyager'. Thank you very much for posting this.
I think a lot of people felt that way about the characters. Star Trek has a special way of showing the good in people, so its hard not to feel like you know them (as we all want too) (; ...I'm watching Voyager now, I like it better the 2nd time. I would recomend to anyone who has only seen a show once & thought it was just ok to watch it again. Who knows, you may catch things you missed before. I think for me its just having the series grow on me. You know, the characters & all. Star Trek rules!
So I gather the list is: 1) Star Trek: The Original Series Theme 2) Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Theme 3) Picard's Flute Theme from "The Inner Light." 4) Theme from Star Trek: Generations 5) Star Trek: Voyager Theme 6) Overture from Star Trek: The Motion Picture/Star Trek: The Next Generation Theme
Yeah, I've come to the conclusion that DS9 is really the best of the best in the star trek world. I like all the ones I mentioned but I agree DS9 is a great show and it unfortunately didn't get the praise it deserved. That may be because it had a hard time starting off with its 1st & 2nd seasons but it really picked up after that & makes all of it (including those seasons) well worth watching. People need to give these shows a chance. DS9 is seriously underated, its nice to know others agree. (;
aos 5:41 minutos da sequencia musical, é o momento mais lindo o thema da voyager é um dos mais maravilhosos arranjos que eu já ouvi. parabens todos os themas são fabulosos.
we're playing this in my youth symphony and at first I wasn't all too excited but I actually like most of these. Voyager is nice but I don't see why everyone thinks it's the more beautiful over the inner light.
The 1990's were the best for Star Trek. Star Trek: TNG, Star Trek: DS9, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, and Star Trek the Experience. Sadly you can't find any of them on television anymore.
I agree with you 100% I feel like I have been part of Janeways crew. I sometimes have dreams about being on Voyager and wake up and am sad its not real.
Be honest at the start everyone in their minds went..."Space the final frontier...😃😃
I sure did lol.
Here are the tracks in order:
0:01 TOS main titles (Alexander Courage)
1:33 DS9 main titles (Dennis McCarthy)
2:46 Theme from The Inner Light (TNG) (Jay Chattaway)
4:04 Star Trek Generations Overture (Dennis McCarthy)
5:43 Star Trek Voyager main titles (Jerry Goldsmith)
7:08 Star Trek TNG main titles / TMP main titles (Alexander Courage / Jerry Goldsmith)
That transition into the Voyager Theme gets me every time, so beautiful.
Star Trek and its theme music always provide a message of hope, peace and a vision of the way the world should be. Thank you for this beautiful medley! :)
5:40: Voyager's Theme. So beautiful. The best of them. I wish they were as grandiose and tragic as this theme with modern TV.
I always felt that the "Voyager" theme exemplified a sense of melocoly and a longing for home with an underpinning of hope... perfect for the show.
My vote goes to DS9. Mournful, resolute strength and clinging to hope no matter what. The symphonic treatment really overpowers it.
How Do Ya Like Me Now, Chucklehead? Check out voyager epic theme. I think a little bit more powerful than the regular theme
Like a tear being heard from the piano itself.
@@philbertdescalso8646 Trust me, already have. ;)
Voyager and DS9 were my favorite themes
Voyager is my favorite.
i agree
It gives me chills every time.
Arguably one of the sweetest themes ever written for a TV show.
I think so.
I like generations overture as a miltary veteran i appreciate it alot
Voyager's theme should be the anthem of Earth.
And Star Trek Generations of the Olympic Games ...
+Bob Lloyd That, or the First Contact theme which sadly isn't in this medley.
:-P
***** No I am a Beavis
Voyager's theme sounds amazing but I think it's too specific. It moves slowly, sounds lonely and lost which suits the Voyager series.
The inner light is f*****g amazing
every time the Voyager Theme kicks in, i get goosebumps from hell :)
+TREKSTAR 88 well than ... i hope you do at least enjoy the other themes ;)
TREKSTAR88 I feel insulted in some way (not saying you suck or something everyone has their own opinion just it turns)
RIP Uncle Phil.
Dude 😂😂😂
+Benjamin Wilcox You're silly! But it made me laugh.
my thoughts exactly lol
Outstanding playing - Uncle Phil and the orchestra are to be commended! Thanks for sharing!
Darmok approves, Jalad told me so.
Shaka, when the walls fell.
Darmok and Jalad at Tenagra...
But only on the ocean.

Some of my favorite memories are watching Star Trek with my dad. Thank you for posting!
I truly love the theme at 4:03, it's from Star Trek Generations and I have always found it uplifting. Nice to see it being performed live. The Voyager theme also sounds wonderful being played live.
I love the end of that theme, the way the horns seem to chase each other to the bottom, like they're racing to get there in time for the finale ^_^.
This video is fantastic! Say what you will about Star Trek, but it has always had beautiful music. You will cheer at the end of this orchestra's performance.
I clapped in front of my laptop when this ended - simply superb!
This rendition of voyager is the best star trek performance i have ever heard.
Well played. It feels like a walk through my life. I watched Star Trek as a child - and now, many years later I still love it...
Hearing the tunes always gives me goosebumps. Star Trek helped me through rough times. Greatest tv shows ever made in my opinion.
Tears at Voyager.
Go Captain Janeway!!! Love the theme tune to Star Trek Voyager 👏👏👏
This was great although the transcriptions are a little off. Wrong notes here and there in the sheet music really can play games with an ear accustomed to the original recordings. LOL
ikr!
i miss this music when i am a kid star trek fans i really miss it this music i looking for 2 year of this music
I love Voyager's theme song!
Why is the Fresh Prince of Bel Air's Uncle conducting an orchestra?
+Qasim Mir Damn you, now I'm never gonna unseen that.
HA!
exactly my thoughts haha
*LMFAO*
Because after that, Carlton came out for the Tom Jones medley.
It's excellent!!
I wouldn't mind the Klingon Opera there...
I demand Aktuh and Melota!
Baktag! Hab SoSll Quch! I demand Hamlet in Klingon!
Jerry Goldsmith is the architect behind most of the music of Star Trek, but not the only one. And, by the way, Picard´s flute is a classic tune from one of the great composers... Anyone's guess??
4:39 while Generations wasn't so good a movie, it had a really great soundtrack and this was one of my favorites.
They even played The Inner Light! Thank you for the performance and emotions.
Themes in order:
The original seris, Deep space 9, Inner light, Generations, Voyager, The next generation
Picard's ressikan flute theme... Wow.
Hope when we get an actual interplanetary/stellar manned mission, John Williams or someone gives it some awesome theme music like this.
Naw... It's gonna be magic carpet ride...
Naw.. It's going to be Magic Carpet Ride
absolutely agree! Never understood why so-called Trekkies didn't like and support this great Star Trek retrospective show with my boy, Scott Bakula and a wonderful cast, great stories and fantastic theme song! I loved it!!

Why is Uncle Phil conducting?
PMSL
That's the first thing I thought when I saw him!
+scififan90 and you can't unsee it either.
I know right?
My first thought also!
I love this. It just goes to show that star trek is not only an american phenominon but a global one. I gaurantee If et is out there they are giving praise to this particular piece aswell.
5:43 is where the best part starts in case you all were wondering #nickgiammarino
I don't recognize some of the tunes but I like how the "sound" of Star Trek music is present in this entire piece (the instruments and how they are played).

5:45 ... I started crying on the spot.
Generations Overture is my favorite
ok as a mainlander I'm jealous Taiwan got to enjoy this
Brings back memories......
Big Applause to the Orchestra and the Conductor.
Bravissimi questi musicisti.
At such a sad time as the passing of D.C.Fontana and Others this means a lot 2 me!
this music is a lot better than star wars
My face nearly exploded with nostalgia-tears at least 3 times during this.
movement 3--- the inner light!! one of my all time favorites. yeah!!!
This things make Star Trek so great the mix with this classic music !
And this is why I wish my schools had an orchestra... the clarinet parts must have been a blast! :)
LOVE DS9. My favourite Star Trek.
The part where they played voyage ouverture literally brought tears to my eyes...
This is officially my new background music.
hahahahaha! nice! :)
My favorite Star Trek series EVER 5:44!!
Impresive and very moving,I could close my eyes and see it all....Wow!!!!! Thank you for this
I love it when they finnished with TNG that was beautiful.
honestly this is the best version I've heard so far
seen him lastnight at my college conducting the NC Symphony! Man, that guy is amazing to watch :)
Inner Light always brings tears!
*I like it done with a touch less Sichuan, thumbs up!*
An absolutely marvellous performance that I enjoyed very much indeed, especially when listening with high quality headphones which I highly recommend. The transition from one theme to the next was beautifully done, especially the lead-in to my favourite of them all, 'Voyager'. Thank you very much for posting this.
who else felt like they were there listening :) its so beautiful
Listening to Voyager theme gives me goose bumps... awesome!
Love that they included a bit of music from Picard's flute
The ending theme though and the theme used in the last episode.
I think a lot of people felt that way about the characters. Star Trek has a special way of showing the good in people, so its hard not to feel like you know them (as we all want too) (; ...I'm watching Voyager now, I like it better the 2nd time. 6) Overture from Star Trek: The Motion Picture/Star Trek: The Next Generation Theme
All wonderful sounded beautiful. By Voyager I was enthralled. Such a great performance!
Star Trek is awesome period. Hell I even downloaded some fanfilms and the computer release movie called tar trek of gods and men. I love Sta Trek
5:42 The Voyager theme is so beautiful :D
Just getting my mouth warmed up, Captain.
I agree!! The inner light is pure beauty
Wow! Amazing it's nice to see the brilliant music from Star Trek being recognized in such an incredible manner :)) very well put together
Man I love their take on the DS9 theme..... great work on all of them!
Uncle Phil is the conductor!
Troy Alexander Will is going to have a field day with this

He's the happiest man I've ever seen! :D
我超愛STAR TREK!
Amazing performance. I'd love to attend one of these concerts anytime!
Excellent composition of my favourite themes. Wonderful stuff.
The 1990's were the best for Star Trek. Star Trek: TNG, Star Trek: DS9, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, and Star Trek the Experience. Sadly you can't find any of them on television anymore.

That was brilliant...I loved it...
Voyager and the Score for ST 7 (Generations) are the most beautiful...in my eys^^
He's like, um, wow, he's a great big man of cheerful awesomeness and enthusiasm :D
I recently had a concert in which I played this song. I played flute.
I wish I had the music for these, They would be so fun to play on French Horn.
sem dúvida fantástico
Beautiful.
