- The toggle cord is a specialized piece of cordage that has countless uses both in the field and in everyday life. Consider making yourself a few and stashing them around; one in your car, another in your backpack or purse, and of course one of your favorite color in your pocket.

Awesome. Thanks for sharing 🙏
I was talking to a friend of mine. He called them patrol belts in boy scouts. Their whole patrol wore them so they could connect them together for a longer piece of cordage. Nothing is new.
👍👍👍
Well demo'd .. thanks.
This is so useful, thank you!
Simple, versatile, I like it. Subscribed.
great to have you on board!
This is the next piece of tech I'll be adding to my kit! 👍
I've got like four stashed around, they are so handy.
How totally cool Just think of the fun ways to use this multi functional piece of kit 😆👍
It's so useful I carry one wrapped in a ranger band in my pocket everyday.
A versatile piece of kit that is light and easy to make. Excellent.

Where did you get that idea from? First time I saw it, it was done by a German channel called Bushcraft & Nature and then, better exposed to the community by Felix Immler. I made my own two holed toggle for no knot rapid ridgeline deployment called the Robert's TOGGLE.
I learned the two hole toggle in the Boy Scouts. We would wear them as belts!
Any chance you could post a link to that idea?
Question dodged, We all know about the 2 hole toggle, amazing how many people ripped off this idea and didn’t acknowledge their source.
What makes it more obvious plagiarism is that they all made videos after bushcraft and nature and Felix Immler posted videos…
@@MrDkgio There is a difference between Bushcraft & Nature's ONE Holed Toggle and my TWO holed Toggle and they have different functions too.
I’ve just watched the video again, you have a one hole toggle demonstrated, you show a single hole in the toggle, you then do same demonstrations of uses and how it works. At no point do you show a two hole toggle (would be pointless as they are on tents from 100 years ago)
Plagiarism pure and simple
Very good technique, thank you for sharing.
FYI, please mount the camera. It is unnerving watch a bouncy video, where do we focus?
Thanks for the comment, this is one of our older videos we've worked that out :)
Very good
Thank you we'll be putting more content like this out shortly :)
I need to make some of these. Is it better to use oak? Or can I use a metal toggle?
Honestly either or works. it's even possible even order a few stainless steel options! But I like making them myself its fun and Oak would work great !
I made a batch of toggles from green twigs sourced from my local forest during a walk with the Pooch. A pocket folding saw, Swiss Army Knife, a bench to sit on in the forest with her on my lap, watching the world going by .. nice and relaxing. Let the finished products dry on the outside porch / balcony and Bob's your Uncle.

is it possible to do the same thing with a thicker rope?
Yes. I like line that does not like water like a dyneema or poly
Sorry for the delay in response friend. Simple answer is yes. You might need a thicker piece of wood in response, though.
OMG, you used a slipped stopper knot?!! Where is your reference? You must show your reference. Got some real idiots posting here. Nice video, BTW.
The slipped stopper knot was just for ease of undoing the knot after doing the demonstration. The world is your oyster really, as long as the knot stops.
@limicola1, not sure your context for reference. Do you mean for the toggle cord idea itself?
I was being sarcastic about all the criticism you were getting for not providing credit for the toggle. I mean, who really knows who originated that knot eh?@@uncivilizedvitality
@@Limicola1 Ha, Totally flew over my head.
