I carry the X3 for several month now as EDC and really enjoy it. Little Note: the lanyard also includes a lightening port for IPhone which I use so it’s a complete package to also charge my phone . Carrying the case is a little bulky but usually I carry a powerbank in my EDC regardless

Like how he uses a normal sized hachet to teach them properly. Some would have the mini little cheap ozark trailes throwing axes with paracord not effective or productive 😅

It's nice to see some kids outside learning something instead inside on the Playbox or X-Station or tapping on their phones.

carrying a saw, but not an axe?

Yeah I forgot my hatchet but I brought my smelter and anvil so I just need some iron ore and and I can smith a saw blade.

Sometimes poison ivy has 5 leaflets (rare, but I've seen it before)

Something I've learned is if you're carrying your ccw on your belt and wearing a waist pack is to make sure you can still draw the gun. I usually wear a fanny pack with athletic shorts (no belt) but once I threw it on over my jeans and it wasn't until I got home and went to take the holstered gun off when I realized the pack's strap was in the way of drawing my pistol. That was an eye opener! The solution is probably to run it through a few belt loops, though I'll usually use a belt pouch of some sort in that scenario. The Spiritus JSTA pouch is pretty handy here, I wear it over my left front pocket and put my phone in the back mag slot.

This is an outstanding sling. Once you start working with it, you'll realize how thoughtfully designed it is. There are so many little things about it that make it durable, comfortable, and powerful. Truly a slinger's sling.

This is probably my favorite category of bag; you can carry everything you need for the day but I'm struggling on how to add a water bottle or canteen. Doc, you might check out the 5.11 Rapid Waist Pack. I have a few and they're very nice, they're 3 liters and about 10" by 6". They go in and out of stock on their website. The strap is 1.5" wide but feels a bit thin for a canteen. Then there's also the smaller lumbar packs. Mystery Ranch and Kargo have a few in the ~5 liter range I want to check out, I'm not interested in a full lumbar pack with shoulder straps.

Dr. Morey goes through some of his many... many fanny packs & chest rigs. It's kinda like a woman and her many purses 🤣
