AV Undercover (at least what still exists in fragments on RUclips) will always be pure nostalgia for me. It literally started when I was still in high school and ended right as I was graduating college. It will always be a time capsule of awesome indie/alternative covers of the 2010s and a way to glimpse back into an objectively better time period, arguably for most people. Thanks for preserving the memories!
I'm amazed to see him turn a stupid interview into something meaningful. The drummer starts off like its a joke and Scott pushes it to something meaningful right away. There are ppl all around u pushing things into something meaningful and at the same time those same ppl are falling apart. We all need to quit being so superficial.
The drummer is Scott's brother, Grant. I imagine he laughs because in the live Cheap Trick version of this song Robin Zander says "This is the first song from our new album". He probably figured, oh great, people are going to be thinking we have a new album and this song is on it. But I do agree that Scott gives this song a whole new meaning. His soul was on display in most every song he sang.
Breaks my heart ever time I hear him sing....such a beautiful force in the world...
