    OUTSTANDING!!!!!! This is exactly what I want to do with my 2020 RS...trying to figure out how to save money by disassembling and reassembling myself after coating. The swing-arm...do you have to install new bearings when you take it out? Apologies if it's a silly question.

    • @ThorntonHundredMotorcycles
      @ThorntonHundredMotorcycles  3 года назад +1

      Thanks mate glad you are enjoying the videos! We recommend you changing the bearings as you don't want to get any coating on them

    Really interesting to see the process and work involved guys.
    I see you sell some parts that you've probably designed during a custom build and realise might have wider appeal.
    I wonder if you might be interested in commissioned, custom parts rather than a whole bike?
    I want a new rear end on a Speedmaster that incorporates tail tidying, rear rack (where a top box could be fitted), sissy bar with pillion pad (still allowing a top box) and pannier mounts (for preferably lockable removal hard panniers) that is functional and sturdy but also good-looking...
    ...it's proving difficult to find, to say the least!
    Not that you haven't got your plates full doing excellent work already hehe - but would that kind of thing be viable?

    • @ThorntonHundredMotorcycles
      @ThorntonHundredMotorcycles  3 года назад

      We are definitely capable of building that! send an email to Enquiries@thorntonhundred.co.uk and we'll see what we can do. also glad your loving the build 😊

    This build is awesome! Plus I've just made the deal to trade in my T120 Ace Edition for a Thruxton RS. The Xylan coating on the silver parts looks sick, would love to know who you use.
    Plus would love if these parts, especially the front mudguard, will ever be available to buy.

    In my country, Iran, all engines are made in India, and Lenha, who is a professional, uses Japanese brands such as Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Of course, I like Yamaha and Harley-Davidson more, and unfortunately, this is not a trumpet at all.
