Best live performance by the Pulse I ever seen. They strayed a while but back in 2015 I got to see them, expected nothing, and they played all the oldies and really well. This is on another level I wish reggae was still made with this kind of inspiration.

I've seen Steel Pulse live and I've been to Vondel Park. Very cool setting for a cool band, would loved to have been there but I was 10 years old at the time and was more interested in the Incredible Hulk than reggae and european travel

Amazing how good they were able to sound outdoors. But didn't this set include "Prodigal Son"? I'm looking everywhere for a very particular live version. Love the way Grizzly finishes the percussion at the tail end of the bridge in that version, though it may not have been the one in this set. Yes, that's the best line up. I'm so very glad I got to see them many times during this period 80-84. Steve and Ronnie held down the RYTHM.
