    I've loved my Power 5s so I can't wait to upgrade to these after my current set wears out! The Power 5 is absolutely phenomenal in the rain which is what sold me because I live in the NW U.S. where it rains a lot during the mild winters. Thanks very much for explaining the technical differences and upgrades!!

    Great and informative video 🤩 I'm curious how this compares with the OE tires on the Ducati Diavel, the Pirelli Rosso III. What are the differences between the Michelin Power 6 and the Pirelli Rosso III? Is the Michelin tire on par or is one superior than the other?

      Same here…looks like a set of power 6 are about $150 more than the Rosso 3. I wonder if the Power 6 is longer lasting. I have 2,000 on my OE Rosso 3 on my ‘24 Diavel V4

    Would you recommend Road 6 over Power 6 for a supersport like Ducati Panigale V4? I'm only riding on road and occasional twisties. Never track. Much appreciated

      Road 6 .. are an outstanding tyre … Power 6 is for those that want more grip & lean angle that they lack in the Road 6 … if you haven’t experienced that then Road 6 is the tyre for you …

      I was looking at this tire too but they dont make a 200/60/17 for the power 6 . Only 200/55/17 which i dont know if i step down on my panigale.

    • @motorcycletyrewarehouse
      @motorcycletyrewarehouse  5 месяцев назад

      @@Klubyeezy you may need to confirm this … but … pretty sure that’s ok as I believe that bike recalibrates every time the bike starts moves forward & abs light goes out .. also as some from my knowledge some fit the 195/65R17 on the track with no issues…

    • @jackyff8
      @jackyff8 5 месяцев назад

      @@Klubyeezy Tire calibration is all you have to do. Tire calibration is used to correct for different tire sizes/diameters in the settings menu. Basically, you'll get to 2nd gear and hold 30 or 35 MPH for a few seconds. The screen tells you and lights up when you are running the required speed. Just make sure you find a nice straight flat section of road. You also need to take into account the bike will sit 10mm lower. Another note, don't listen to your Ducati dealership telling you no because it's not "factory". They designed this very feature for you to calibrate it on the track like those pirelli 65 and dunlop 70 profile tires.

    How do these compare with the s22/23?

    • @motorcycletyrewarehouse
      @motorcycletyrewarehouse  5 месяцев назад +2

      That’s going to be more of a personal preference question, because Michelin tyres are constructed so much different than Bridgestone’s, so you’ll probably see good reviews on each but as far as a Michelin power series, these are the top of the game and a big step forward…
      Thanks for your comment

    Is it 2CT+ on the rear and 2CT on the front, like on the Road 5's, or have they given us full 2CT+ for both tires? The 2CT front has a tendency to become too squishy when ridden hard. A big fault with the otherwise flawless Road 5's. They perfected it for road 6, and i was hoping they carried that over to the Power 6 too.

    • @SantiWax
      @SantiWax 4 месяца назад

      My guess would be that they have, as the Power 6 is a more sport orientated than the Road 6 (it's a class above). The Power 6 may be my next tire. I currently have the Diablo Rosso 2 and they are excellent, although millage not great. I'm also looking into the newer version of it, the Diablo Rosso 4.

    • @motorcycletyrewarehouse
      @motorcycletyrewarehouse  5 месяцев назад +1

      Tread lean angles improved , length of Tread Snipes for water displacement, more durable, soft edge rubber covering more of the tyre… Definitely better in the wet … Superior than the 5 at the roughly same price.

      @@deedle6073 for the extra price i can asure you that the Road size will last longer than the extra you pay i get over 8k with the rear tyre having fun on twistys and touring thousends of miles on a very Tourque bike Power are a great tyre same as S22 retails but sadly only get 3k at best from them so will let you do the maths on that with the R3 could get more than 10k from set of Road 6 maybe 5k from a power 5/6 if your lucky.. If it rains alot were you are Road 6 i have forgot it was Wet out and still got knee down the rain performance is amazing right from the go

    What is the diff of road 6 vs power 6

    • @motorcycletyrewarehouse
      @motorcycletyrewarehouse  6 месяцев назад +8

      Road 6 is aimed towards all styles and all weather riding targeting naked bikes and sports tourers which includes heavier motorcycles with the emphasis on mileage while still being a good weekend sport tyre … and Power 6 tyres are aimed at sport bike and sport riding and are for those wanting more grip and higher speed cornering ability which may come at the cost of kilometres, but still able to commute on your daily ride.
