Your such a a likeable guy! Love your banter with you having conversations with yourself. Don't stop thinking about tomorrow, you've got a bright future mate.
You confirmed Michelin know what they're doing, the Power 6 is great on the road and the GP2 was definitely the one for the track......this track foray also proved Chopsy ❤the 1390 😍
Great review and what an amazing opportunity to go over there to test them out!! Unbelievable Chopsy and some fast smooth riding there for a self proclaimed 20 stone fatty! Love you vids and your enthusiasm, keep up the great content mate. 😁
Ordered some GP2's right after watching this video, great review. (Most of the other 'reviewers' looked like it was their first time seeing a track in person)
@@LambChopRides Great to know, how's the mileage looking? How long do they take to warm up? Also, do you think they're going to be too hard a carcass for non adjustable suspension on bumpy roads?
Had power gp on last two bikes worked amazing just had a speed triple 2023 decided go with power 6 as do more road they are amazing with the knowledge wet grip there too suits the triple very well
Power 6 looks like a great road tyre - esp for anywhere that it rains. When I went from Bridgstone BT02 to S22, best way I could describe it was that the tyres were 'pushing back' in the corners.
Great vid, lucky devil. The Power 6's are seemingly great tyres & definitely on my list as replacements when my current set of average Dunlops are done.
Great video Chopsy. Your comment about not watching MotoGP when Sete Gibernau was racing, suddenly reminded me of how old I'm getting 😂I watched MotoGP religiously back then, and he last raced in MotoGP in 2009! Thanks for another greatly entertaining post.
Hello chops pal, I would have to try the Duke then the Blade and finally the R1. Thanks bud for an excellent vid really enjoyed it and a good comparison too!
Great fun, I just do track days now and don't ride on the road after getting smashed up by a BMW two years ago, I did try but just didn't enjoy it anymore and lost weight so I can now use my 2 piece leathers again, all the best Chops , really enjoy your channel btw been a subscriber for years.👍👍👍👍
👍 nice great review. I agree I have power 5 due to limited choice for 200 rear . on my super duke I use mine for road and touring . Took it to track once (am not a fast track user) could feel the back small slip when tyre not up to full temp . Michelin Power a good all weather road tyre not my first choice for track . Am going to have to drop to 190 rear to go back to Michelin road 5 or 6 For road only. 1290 has to much power for road tyres on track .
Slowed down heaps for those corners. Why not lean it more and actually see how good they are ? I was keen to see and hear how good they tipped in compared to each other ? Some tyres are really hard to get the bike to lay over in faster corners.
ah Sete Gobernau and Jerez you should've tried to overtake him on the last corner 🤣gp is at jerez this weekend too! mega video as always ktm should pay you at this rate none makes me want a super duke more
Hi Chops my question for you is which tyre is best for 90%road 10%track? Michelin Power 6 or the Bridgestone S23 ? I'm riding a 2018 neo retro cafe cb1000r on Power 5s and looking for an upgrade in terms of dry and wet grip as well as durability. Thank you!
How could you possibly not have watched Moto-GP at that Time ,??, those were the days were GP was at its finest, Rossi and Sete were classic rivalry’s, But of course Rossi Spanked him good. 👍/46
Love the Sportec M9RR on my speed triple, but I use the Michelin Road 6s on my touring bikes, cos I prefer them. Metzeler do make great sports tyres though for sure.
Your such a a likeable guy! Love your banter with you having conversations with yourself. Don't stop thinking about tomorrow, you've got a bright future mate.
I appreciate that! 👍

LOL those eyes and that squeak hahaha you crack me up!!! Great vid Chopster!!!
Haha I know! I couldn't resist 😆 👍
Great vid Chopsy, how about now weve had Pirelli, Michelin, Bridgestone, etc a comparison vid of best sports tyres for road and track use?
Great review and what an amazing opportunity to go over there to test them out!! Unbelievable Chopsy and some fast smooth riding there for a self proclaimed 20 stone fatty! Love you vids and your enthusiasm, keep up the great content mate. 😁

That Fireblade looks 🔥😮
Your so much more comfortable on the KTM, great day out and those GP2’s are the fun tyres😊
Ordered some GP2's right after watching this video, great review. (Most of the other 'reviewers' looked like it was their first time seeing a track in person)
Thanks very much 👍 Got them now on my Hypermotard & KTM 690 SMCR and been very impressed

Impressive riding and commentary on the tires. Takes skill and experience to understand and express the characteristics.
Thanks Paul appreciated buddy 👍
You’re having to much fun Chopsy , keep the videos coming !

It was during my short period I didn't have bikes, gutted now I didn't know who he was. Bloody legend. Would have done him on the last corner 😆👍
@@LambChopRides 😄 you were just being respectful by not taking him Chopsy!

Thanks Tommie 👍
Well that was a great jolly boys outing plus some, michelin seem to have it all covered. Power 6 rubber on my Superduke R next time
Kate sneaks in the shot as always , when are you two doing a collaboration video and Greg
Yes good idea 👍
incoming 1390 build 😳😂 amazing video chops, i’m getting the power 6’s fitted to my 1290 in a week and now i’m even more excited 👍
What a lucky boy you are I’m jealous 🤢 I would choose the KTM 1390 what a beautiful fun machine and the cherry on the cake is to be riding Jerez 😊
just recieved my GP2's today

Lucky bugger I would be happy on any of those bike on that track! Nice video 👍 They spoil you lot on these events
Yeah they really do 👍
Hi Chops
Just got the 2024 S1000rr Sport M Package and it is better than the SDR 👍🏻
Good show, man!
I reckon you’re going to buy one of those KTMs Chops 🎉🎉😊
Slowed down heaps for those corners.

I was keen to see and hear how good they tipped in compared to each other ?
Some tyres are really hard to get the bike to lay over in faster corners.
What would you say are the best 50/50 track/street tires? These Power GP2 or Pirelli Supercorsa SP?
I'm curious over the logistics of all the bikes fitted. Were these track bikes, owner bikes, Michelin's bikes? How did that come to play? Very cool
Might get the power 6s when my s1000r needs new tyres...
ah Sete Gobernau and Jerez you should've tried to overtake him on the last corner 🤣gp is at jerez this weekend too! mega video as always ktm should pay you at this rate none makes me want a super duke more
Haha yeah wish I had known at the time!! He's still sore about that 😆
No apex's were harmed during the making of this video 😉 love your vidoes though keep it up!!
Absolutely haha 😄 👍

Gearbox seems to be stuck in 3rd a lot of the time ? Great way to fill in the day- all legal. Lucky 🍀 sod.
Always appreciate the big guy ergo comments 👍🏼
Superbe vidéo merci ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Who does your music chopsie :)
“I have become a naked man”…. I was thinking ‘Chops for the love of god do not turn the camera around’ 😂
Haha 😆 👍
Could have done without some of the arse cam footage honestly, but good on you for getting your knee down and testing the tyres properly

So when are u buying the 1390 superduke?
I know.. its becoming hard to resist! Testing one on the road in a few weeks 👍
Have the same felling but really like my 1290sas my 23😎 looking forward to more ktm content 🫶👍
Was 44 teeth there, no way they'd pass the blow test 😂😂
Maybe not because they're sponsored by Bridgestone 🤔
@@deanmsimpson, just joking cause they party
Have I already seen your video from the road ride section of this launch, or did I dream it? Can't find it on the Tubes anywhere... Am I going mad?? 🙃
It's down for some tweaking after a complaint.. back soon 👍
@@LambChopRides Intriguing... Cheers Chopsy! 👍
Shame there was no rsv4 in the end!
Think it's be the 1390 for me.
usernamekate cameo at 10"???
You’re pretty darn good….. you look like you’ve done this before……
Next time . Please talk more about the tires please
Fireblade 100%
You do need a 1390 in your life, you so at home on it 👍
“Carlsberg don’t do track days, but if they did…” 👍
Absolutely!! 😎👍
If you fancy screaming, butt clenching etc, watch Sarah Lezito (French Stunt woman) doing stunts on a H2 including 90 degree wheelies!
Good old chop, Look like a panda. Wearing a is a gorilla suit.
At 10:58 you need to tuck your toes in!
you should focus more on the tyres rather than the bike!!
Quit your job and do this every day
Loving the KTM. I may be a little biased 😁.
