Great video, thanks for the help with this. it really helped me out knowing that I needed to scan the right folder in order for these plugins to work. The C drive was not working I copied the folder vstplugins inside my Documents , where you can find a MPC Beats folder, and pasted thein order to make this work . Luckily it made it work :).

Hi! When installing a Drums Plugin, by default it has a ‘Keyboard’ setup (it shows the midi keys), and the pads get messed up when ‘Chords’ are selected. Is there a way for a plugin to have a ‘Drums’ configuration, so it doesn’t mess up the pads with the chords?

Thanks bro. did not know about the mixer. My problem is getting the purchased expansion packs into the expansion display after purchasing them. I have to drag them in from the file menu which is a pain. Hope you can help.

I have AIR’s Velvet and some other virtual instruments via M-Audio because of my Hammer 88. The velvet is a .big file and MPC Beats doesn’t see it when I go to the folder. I swore I’ve used .big files in the old software, but I could be wrong. Any info would be appreciated.

I'm sorry if this sounds super basic but I'm new to this, my question is where can I get more sounds and plugins that don't cost a hundred bucks like the mpc expansion packs, (like 3rd party?) and if that is the only choice, do you know which expansion has the best value? also your videos are super helpful, the way you explain things so thoroughly is great! thank you! Also I'm having trouble recording audio (vocals, guitar, ect) without also recording the track. Hi, big fan of your channel. Im having an issue with loading vsts into my mpc beats. It is not showing vst as an option in the dropdown menu. I could scan breaktweaker, the vst, but the plus vst simply is not there in my mpc beats. Please advise my good man. So frustrating. Thanks man.

I'm having a issue I hope someone can help me solve. I have a bunch of VST's from iZotope (both 32/64 - I understand MPCbeats does not like 32bit). I've already directed MPC beats to find the correct folder and scan. They loaded in fine from there but when I look under plugins from the track, they are not listed (even after checking all drop downs). Also I should note that when I check my plugins with the 'plugins manager' I can see all iZotope plugins fine from there but not when I check it from the track area. All vst's are activated. Anyone know why this is happening?

Ok, I could finally use the plugins by following the instructions of going to the mixer and inserting it there. All the VST plugins are loaded but inaccessible in the inspector. Interesting, let's hope this works once I start using this beast.
