Great reaction - and great dancing along. This was NOT pre-Babymetal, it was concurrent. Depending when this was filmed, Su had graduated at least a year or two earlier. By this time Moa was Sakura Gakuin Student Council President (which was why she was also the Rakusa Clan chief with her flag and looking through the keyhole at herself at the end) and Yui was Production Chairman ... she was the one with the cine camera who found the door in the woods.
They filmed this some time when Babymetal were not on one of their world tours.
Heart No Earth (or Heart No Hoshi) ... the 'No' in the title is a Japanese word, it is not the English word no.

The girls on the other side of the magic door are all members of the Rakusa Clan of forest girls.
(If you reverse the syllable order, you get Sa-ku-ra).
They exist at the same time as the Sakura Gakuin members, but in another place or dimension. : )
The forest scenes were shot on location.
The video stars the four Sakura Gakuin seniors, Moa Kikuchi, Yui Mizuno, Hana Taguchi and Yunano Notsu.
Moa was the forest girl leader with the flag, which is appropriate since she was the Sakura Gakuin President.
Hana, the girl in the blue dress with the pan and ladle, used it to sound an alarm.
Yui was the one with the film camera.
Yunano (with the bow and arrow) was the girl that convinced Moa to participate in the fun.
The 'Heart no Hoshi' single and DVD single were released in October 2014.
BABYMETAL began in 2010, the same year that Sakura Gakuin began.
This was Moa and Yui's last Nendo (academic year) in Sakura Gakuin.
They graduated in March 2015.
I'm a big fan of Tomoko Kawase (Tommy february6 / Tommyheavenly6), who wrote 'Heart no Hoshi', as well as 'My Graduation Toss' with her husband Shunsaku Okuda.
They were also the main creative force behind the band 'The Brilliant Green' which is also worth checking out.
Yui was especially moved that the songwriter captured her feelings of being separated from the other Sakura Gakuin members (and missing their Tokyo Idol Festival appearance) while she was on a world tour with BABYMETAL.
Still my favorite Sakura Gakuin song, music video, etc.
There's also a "Dance" version that just shows the choreography with pink and white pompoms (without the Rakusa Clan footage), and a short 'making of' behind the scenes video.
Su wasn’t in this video, this song came out 2 years after Su left the group. Moa and Yui were the seniors that year (Moa was the Class President here and Yui was the Production chairman), which was the same year Babymetal got big in the west. This song was written for Yui and Moa, who were separated from Sakura Gakuin for a large part of this year because they were on the road with Babymetal. The overall message of the song is “Even though we’re apart, our hearts are one”. That messsge has stayed with the group through later members ever since and was invoked again during the covid lockdown last year.

Yeah, in the summer 2014, two graduates Marina & Raula played the part for Yui & Moa on Tokyo Idol Festival .
That was the dedication , devotion for Sakura Gakuin .
Hana and Yunano also seniors.
Heart no Earth is the first Sakura Gakuin single release with Moa as student council president, it's from the 2014 Nendo and was released 1 1/2 yeras after Su's graduation. 2014 is one of the few Nendos that had only 10 members. Heart is an anagram of Earth.
This video was done during Yui’s and Moa’s final year as members Sakura Gakuin. Su left 2 years prior. There’s another video of this but only a “cheerleader” dance version. This one of best Sakura Gakuin’s MVs.

Guys simple as this: No dark blue jackets= No Su! Su was in SG from 2010-2012 and in those years they wore dark blue jackets. This is from 2014, the year Moa and Yui graduated from SG.
That was a fun reaction. Just so you can really be 100% on which Moa is, that was her at the end peeking through the keyhole on both sides of the door. She was the leader. Yui was easy to spot. Moa looked different with her hair done up like that. Su graduated already. Such a cute and heart warming song. 🤘🦊🤘

The meaning of the title "Heart no Earth" is a little hard to explain but I'll try.
First of all the "no" is not the English word you're thinking of. In Japanese "no" is a particle used to indicate possession (like adding 's at the end of a word in English) or it could be used to change a noun into an adjective. Sometimes it's easier to think of it as the word "of" but it's used in reverse. So "Heart no Earth" means something like "Earth of Hearts" or "Heart-like Earth" or "the Heart's Earth". Sometimes translating is not very straightforward and takes a lot of interpretation.

This was 2014, BM started late 2010 so it's during BM timeline. Su had left SG by this time.

This was released after Su graduated. Su graduated in 2013 while this song was released in 2015. Since the song was released in 2015, BABYMETAL is already touring at that time (they already had their Budokan performance by this time which was in 2014).
For you to identify if the SG video you're watching has all Su, Yui, and Moa in it, you should keep an eye to their uniforms. If you see them wearing a navy blue (not sure with the term of the color, color's not my forte), it has all Su, Yui, and Moa in it as that uniform was used from 2010-2013. If you see them wearing beige (I might be wrong with the term for the color, sorry for that; or to be more precise the uniform they're wearing in this music video), it only has Yui and Moa in it as it was used from 2014-2015. Now, if you see SG members wearing gray and deep blue (darker blue than their first uniform), it was after the original trio of BABYMETAL graduated so no Su, Yui, and Moa in there. However, two of the BABYMETAL Avengers were a member in that time. The gray uniform was used from 2016-2018 while the deep blue uniform was their current uniform and they started using it in 2019. You can see Kano wearing the beige, gray, and deep blue uniforms because she joined in 2015 Nendo and graduated in 2019 Nendo. You will also see Momoko wearing the beige and gray uniform as she joined in 2015 Nendo and graduated in 2017 Nendo (in case you're confused why Momoko graduated earlier than Kano, it's because she's older than her and she's her senior so she graduated earlier than her even though they joined SG at the same time).

This was released in late 2014, so at least a year after Su had left SG. Moa and Yui were doing BM and also being Class President and Production Chairman respectively...man what a work load. Being Class President it's appropriate that Moa appears as the tribe's leader in the forest who is initially worried about the new dancing and pompoms and Yui, being Production Chairman, has the film camera.
The song uses the contrast between the fantasy forrest, along with some Alice in Wonderland references, and the SG school to encourage you to dream and have the strength to believe in yourself. It also describes the world as being a fun place and that we are all connected. In particular I think this might be referencing Moa and Yui being away from SG quite a lot doing BM work, and saying that they are always part of SG with the other girls.

This was filmed in 2014 from the class of 2015...after Su had graduated and Moa was Class President.
And sadly, this is the last year for Sakura Gakuin as they will Graduate the Final Class later this year...(I believe in August).

When I saw this video for the first time (around the time you reacted to it, it looks like) I kind of saw Yui but Moa looked different because I was so new to Sakura I did not even think of looking for Su because even though I knew BabyMetal for about 6 months at that time I could not tell them apart. I remember seeing Ooga and the others for the first time as I looked back and although it took me over a year to memorize all their names (after all, they do have TWO hehe) it was so good to be able to name them. Now I can recognize all 36 voices although I get about 15% wrong but I am only listening and some are still hard to differentiate. I'll get there because none of their songs get old.
Anyway, I Knew the comment section would fill you in on where Su was. Sakura/BMetal fans are the Best!

Su isn't in this video because she graduated at the end of rhe 2012 nendo (march 2013). The song is from the 2014 nendo when Yui & Moa were seniors, and Moa was selected to be the 4th student council president. Originally the name of the song in japanese is "Heart no hoshi" that could be translated as Earth/planet of love
The translation of Heart no Earth is a bit confusing for me as well. Like many have said, the 'no' in the song is actually Japanese and probably means 'of' in this context. The particle 'no' can also mean other things like indicating possession or it sort of acts like a comma in some cases, if I understand correctly. The song is actually titled 'Heart No Hoshi' so one would think Hoshi means Earth but not exactly. At least not that I can see. It does apparently translate to 'Star' or 'Heavenly Body. In this case maybe the earth is the star so the earth is the heart of the galaxy????? I don't know. The Japanese language is a beautiful language to see and listen to but it is also confusing for a dummy like me. :)
It's such a good song though. It kind of figures that since Moa has such a cute smile, she would also have a cute angry face as well. :D

Four girls of Moa, Yui, Hana, and Yunano were 3 grade in the junior high in 2014. So I think that the MVs of 2014 have been featuring 4 this girls, and looks adorable in particular. However, I have confused a little because the intro of this song sounds like K-pop for me... And I can not tell who they are each other immediately because of their makeup.
This is Nendo 2014, Su graduated in Nendo 2012 you are 2 years past Su. Quality was improving and so was the Professionalism of Sakura Gakuin at this point, but it would be Nendo 2015 where Sakura Gakuin would increase in overall skill and professionalism.

In Japanese, the "no" particle marks the preceding noun as genitive. So it would be "heart's earth" or "earth of heart(s)". Not that it makes more sense... If I'm not mistaken, "hoshi" usually means "star", not earth, so that makes it even weirder.
This is the second most catchy SG song, in my opinion. This will be stuck in my head for days now again.
"Hoshi" also means planet, and in this song when they say "hoshi" they mean this planet, so Earth.

SG is not pre-Babymetal. SG was only 6 months or so along when Babymetal was created as a sub-unit. So they essentially run concurrently. Babymetal separated from SG only after Su graduated from SG at the end of March 2013. Yui and Moa continued in both until they left SG in March 2015.

Hey guys! You probably don't get this so much, but you should definitely react do HELMET. It's an alternative metal band from the 90s that sometimes get overlooked, but they rock HARD!! 'Unsung' is probably their most famous song (it was in GTA SA radio as well). 'Milquetoast', 'Wilma's Rainbow' and 'Role Model' are also great songs! Peace

The translation of the song title is wrong, it should be "Earth of Heart". It's actually a play on words, as Earth and Heart have exactly the same letters, and if you write them in an infinite sequence like "hearthearthearthearth..." You have both words in there. They actually mention it in the lyrics.

What makes you think BabyMetal is not a real band? Because the girls don't play instruments? They've taken metal to a whole new level. Of course, that's just my personal opinion, just like you have yours.
