The best reaction! This song is an opening number of the live with big Maria statue in 2013. And the last number was BABYMETAL Death that Su- was crucified to reborn as a Metal Goddess.
Somehow a scene from (the absolutely incredible) movie "Blues Brothers" came to my mind:

Well... This was the first thing ever I've seen from BABYMETAL four years ago. And yes... I have seen the light!

As a chocoholic, Gimme Chocolate brought me to BABYMETAL. As a classical musician, their Legend-1999 version of Ave Maria is what cemented my die-hard fandom. It was the first full show I watched on Blu-ray and seeing them literally "die" after Headbanger and walk up the stairway to heaven during this song then cueing the credits literally brought tears down my face. You know that the night will be wild when they open the concert like this :)
The whole concert is a representation of the transformation of BABYMETAL from an idol pop group subunit to a legit metal band (and killing Su in order to reborn as a metal goddess in the process). They started as they ended legend 1999 few months before (with a theatrical act on Schubert's "Ave Maria") leading into this shameless lip synced techno hardcore remix of "Headbanger" followed by a "standard" concert with babybones and ending with the Kami Band on the stage for the long encore.
You guys still haven’t seen “Headbanger” live. You did half of a low quality fancam of Moa singing “Headbanger” but that’s it. You gotta see “Headbanger” live for real, specifically from the Legend 1997 concert.
Also you’ve already seen the second half of this and BABYMETAL did perform Gimme Chocolate with Skrillex

"Ave Maria" is Latin and is translated as "Hail Mary". It comes from a passage in the Book of Luke in the B----- (RUclips deletes my post if I type the B word but its the book about the Man Upstairs and his Son)... and is a song from C-------- worship (can't use the C word either or RUclips deletes my post..but its the big Roman religion with Father's and Nuns). (I had to repost this 3 times with edits before it stayed up...got to luv censorship algorithms)
The statue is said to have Su-metal's face on it.
Skrillex did have Babymetal appear as a cameo at one of his performances in Japan. The Pro-shot version is no longer on RUclips, but you may be able to find it somewhere else, but this is the best one out there right now...check the link.

I will also say that it was typical Skrillex, and he was hamming it up a bit but in this version, what you can't see is that after our girls finish singing, they actually join Skrillex behind the mix table and watch him do his thing for a little bit.

i'm pretty sure you already did watch this Headbanger remix version but it's ok to watch it full with the Avemarie intro this time.
You got several more versions of Headbanger to watch, such Legend 1997, MoaBanger, or Legend Metal Galaxy Day 2, be aware of copyright block on the last one and use watermarks logo or other alternative methods to avoid issues.
There's also a short footage of SuMetal rehearsing Akatsuki with the Kami Band, wich is really dope how beatiful she looks in casual outfit with the cape on it and her classical 2 ponny tails, i will try to leave a link down below with a shortcut or another trick maybe, we'll see. Besides that there's an In Ear Monitor audio footage in wich you can hear raw sounds of them while performing 3 songs, so interesting too ;)

I sent this song with the Night of 15 mix link long ago :) its flows into it since its the show opener. BABYMETAL sure knows how to get a party started. I am so happy I own this Blu Ray concert. I also love the pure joy these girls bring to you both. It's so fun to watch lol.
At 11:07 in your video, watch the position of the dancer's praying to Su.
Go to BabyMetal Death from the same show (Ave Maria/Headbanger opens the show, BabyMetal Death closes it) and watch how the choreography is the same. It's just next level planning.

Hey men, talking about skrillex, babymetal perform with him in one show. PD: This is the opening for the legend 1997 show which you can see is amazing, there is even a better opening in my opinion, some people told it; Legend S opening, can't wait to see you react to it.
Gotta have the actual full bluray to witness the ENTIRE opening of Legend-S though or it's wasting a once in a lifetime opportunity to properly react.
@@anto-metal I've never found a link with the whole opening monologue included. RUclips will block their reaction anyway even if they buy the bluray. They should buy/watch it and just upload their after thoughts. IMO, the full opening of Legend-S is so epic that it's the one thing that would be sacrilegious to share online.

Babymetal does EDM. This is all done to a backing track, no live singing or playing. However, it's a great show and a wonderful way to open. The lighting and dancing are amazing. I love the more aggressive choreography. Babymetal step on a few religious toes and I love to you watch "Ave Maria" and "Babymetal Death" back to back and remember this is all "kawaii" metal.

There are very few shows I want to see from Japan. But Babymetal, Love Bites, and Bandmaid are ones I will travel to see. The Live band is amazing and her voice is Amazing!

Gotta say, you being one of the OG reactors to Babymetal, really need to look into their commentary videos. Su, Yui and Moa did videos for doki doki morning, iine, megitsune, IDZ, and headbanger, where they did commentary for it, telling of what it was like making the MV.... Seriously need to check it out.... If I'm not mistaken Scrillex (sp ?) was involved with this remix? So it was actually a collab? This was the opening of Legend 1997 concert (Su 16 Bday).
No he had nothing to do with this - they did appear as guests with him once at something he was doing in Japan and sang a bit of Gimme Chocolate while he did his best to sabotage it (I think that's what he was doing anyway, I wasn't impressed).
Skrillex? No, I think you're getting him confused with Franz Schubert.

This channel almost singlehandedly turned me onto Babymetal. You guys and their collab with Bring Me The Horizon were the 2 major factors. Now a huge fan of Babymetal and an even bigger one of yours.
Suggestions:
LANDMVRKS - Lost In A Wave (modern metalcore. It hits hard and has a helluva groove, plus the vocalist is very talented IMO)
Between The Buried And Me - Viridian + White Walls Live (BTBAM are a prog metal band with hardcore/metalcore vibes as well sometimes. They take you on a journey like Tool does, it’s just a different kind of journey but a journey nonetheless. Not to mention, they are all highly skilled musicians who play complex arrangements live flawlessly every time. I highly recommend them)
