    Not a bad review of the area however Campbellford has 1 pool not several and we haven’t had 40deg temps here ever. We’ve been living here for 30 years and coming here for 30 years before that.
    2023 is the hottest year here in history and we haven’t hit 40 yet this year.
    Glad you had a good time, next time try hitting up Warkworth for an awesome town and Hastings if you are wanting to see the BEST Canada Day fireworks.
    Along with Campbellford we are all classified as Trent Hills Township.
    Great fishing, camping, people, music, there’s a country music festival in August in Hastings with camping called Crooks Rapids. Well worth the weekend of fun and music.

    Nice park. Lol I like how real you are. "Nice bathroom, but it's smelly lol." Rather open campground. I was about to say those stone walls look rather Scottish or Irish. Beautiful river, I'd love to go fishing. A bummer about the internet. Always got have that Brewery.

    I agree reg the steps….really don’t like those new ones….we actually “chose” an older 2019 model trailer this year over a newer one with those steps….they may be sturdier but hate lifting them up and down ,dislike the dirt coming in the trailer with them….take the older ones any day…enjoying thr thoroughness of your reviews, thanx

    Always love your honest reviews! When you camp do you have you own shower in your camper or do you have to use the comfort station showers? Were there lines? Seems like a major downside. Love the views from the suspension bridge though.

    • @TheAverageTourist
      @TheAverageTourist  Год назад

      Thank you! We usually shower in our camper - but it's kind of difficult and you really have to conserve water. So on longer trips we'd use the comfort stations. There was a line - usually first thing in the morning, or in the evening is when it gets busy.

    Thanks for the info on this park. We've not been to this park before but will be going this weekend for a week. Now we know more of what to expect.
    I'm wondering if there's any cell service available? I know you said there was no internet but my family likes to keep in touch while we're camping so I'm wondering if I'd be able to at least receive phone calls.
