absolutely love bon echo, i used to rock climb those cliffs of the mazinaw, i remember that storm......we got hit on our lake as well. ended up with no power for a week from it.......thankfully a generator and summer weather kept us comfortable
We've eaten fried fish for years since my wife and I were kids. But we found a fish tacos recipe and it's our favorite, winter and summer. Thanks for sharing your camping trip, brings back memories of our kids and camping. Oh yea Cilantro and Lime juice!
Terrific video... thanks for the trip down memory lane... Bon Echo was one of my fave while we lived in Ontario. :) Hopefully they can reopen the full park next season. Mason thanks for sharing your fishing trick... I'm sticking close to the boat from now on 🎣😜
What a great video. I enjoyed seeing your family. Great parents. Awesome doggies. And beautiful children. You are blessed with each other and an amazing family. Best wishes on your move and the children going back to school. Summers always fly by way too fast! God bless.
Great camping trip...lotsa family fun...even the pooches were frolicking in the water...good fishing...your little fella is gong to be quite the angler i think...thanks for sharing
It’s definitely a lot noisier now than it used to be! For the fish tacos, we cooked the fish in butter , salt , pepper and garlic . For the fish taco sauce I just mixed up sour cream , cumin, chilli powder, paprika , lime juice. And then we just put whatever toppings we like!
Great camping trip….I’ve been following you guys from about your second or third video and didn’t know you had kids……did I miss something….only every saw the dogs
This is the first time we’ve ever shared the kids. Having them on the internet for everyone to see is a decision we put a lot of thought into , which is why they’ve never been on the channel before 🙂
Bon Echo was a great destination when people had more respect for nature, other campers, but glamping and glampers seems to have accelerated the decline of character and courtesy for others. Best of luck with the your pending move; very ambitious. Are you willing to provide a link to the vintage period store mentioned in your previous video?
We agree, public camping has definitely changed over the years . It’s not what it used to be, unfortunately. Here is a link to the store we visited : legacyvintage.ca

Bon echo is a great spot to camp! That storm did quite a bit of damage , unfortunately

Bon echo is a great park! Mason seems to have the best luck dropping his line at the edge of the canoe or right off the end of the dock haha 🎣 🛶
