I like how you guys show the local breweries, as someone who likes trying different beers it’s really informative for potential places I’ll camp at.

Despite the pool being closed, I can see that the park offers a variety of interesting activities. With its expansive size, enjoyable trails, and the option of paddleboating, it is a beautiful place for a day of combined activities and relaxation.

Even with all the negative things..I was away of cuz I'm from the area ..but it's been years since I been so I enjoyed this..I remember the Westside being the best ..the otherside was OK if you like treed in lots ..as I remember..not sure what it looks like now ..and a Amphitheater is over on the Westside near the canoe rentals . In the Bush area off the trail .

Great job! Good to know about the Parks’s photos online. I’ve passed this park over because of what I saw. The pool is puzzling though. It must have been put there for the reason the water fouls routinely. The geese aren’t a new thing, after all it is their home. Did you learn why it isn’t maintained?

Nice trails and those paddleboats look fun! However, that water looks too murky for me. I don't know if I would take a dip there. It's good that you could get out for a beer and a dessert though. Glad your stay wound up much better than you expected!

Oy that river water did look pretty dirty 😵‍💫 but despite that the park did seem to have a lot to offer.
The geese at the end 😆

Another great in depth video of another great looking camping site. Do you guys work remotely now? Outside of RUclips? Quite a bit of space for each site. I do love the amount of trees to add some seclusion. Seems like it's not too busy which would be perfect for me. Love the lake and the walking trails. It's like search for Atlantis. "Where is the damn Amphitheatre?!" On the real there is one in Acadia that can be hard to find as well. The town of Creemore looks nice. Thanks for another great campground review.

  • @AndysWorldJourneys

great video. funny but the thing i took from the video, other than the town looks charming and the area the campsite is surrounded by beautiful lands, some open and green, water, and a dark, magical forest, was the term 'vault' toilet. Which I take to mean a pit toilet as we call it. Because below is a pit, or some sort of tank. :)

Thanks for your honest review. I see the park has some nice trails and lots of open spaces. Boat rental prices are very respectable! Too bad about the water and that the pool is closed. What’s up with that janky water hose in the beginning of the video! LOL

The creemore brewery looks nice. The split camp ground does sound a bit weird for me too.

We recently spent a week at Earl Rowe And I hated every minute of our stay. We were in the Riverside camp ground. We had picked a pull thru site #148. However the site was on the riverside due to the road being a one way. This ment that our door and awning would be facing out onto the road and not our camp site fire pit.
We decided that we would not follow the one way road directions and came in from the wrong way. Our site was huge and very privation we got settled. The major problem we had was the electric box was a full 1000 feet away . Fortunately I carry a lot of 30 Amp extensions.
Our grand children were staying with us and were excited and looking forward to swimming in the pool and paddle boarding in the lake. The pool was closed and has been since covid-19.
The water in the lake smelled foul and was full of algae. There was no way I could let them even step foot into that swamp.
The beach was a discrace full of goose shit,so no building sand castles.
For a provinial park its an embassesment.

That's too bad that you didn't have a great experience. We definitely agree about the lake being disgusting. We were going to kayak but didn't even want to get splashed with that water 🤢. Good thing you carry extensions! I enjoyed our site and the park but think it's best for shoulder season camping when swimming or water sports isn't a top priority.

The camping sites are so organized in US, we are still to go that route in India. Nice trail. I won't mid taking a dip in water although its not clear water.
