    What do you think? Is Port Burwell a park for you?

    Great tour guide to Port Burwell. The beach looks like a great spot during summer. I'm sure it's nuts during the summer. The park seems spaced out enough. I appreciate that each ground has a comfort station. Another great brewery to mark down on my map. Mmm quesadilla burgers.

    The beach area was so nice. But good to know about bringing your own shade to protect yourself from the sun. And I was wondering if you were completely done camping but I see you got a new trailer. Looking forward to hearing about that!

    Great review. We love all that you talked about. Two things that should have been mentioned are the dog beach and cell services for those with pets and/or working remote. Please add those topics in your next parc review. Awesome review. Sorry to hear you are saying farewell to your Clipper? cute unit.

      Will do! Cell signal was great for us here on Rogers and Bell. Dog beach was near parking lot 1 👍 We got a new camper that's a bit better fit for future camping.

    We just did Selkirk based on your reviews and really enjoyed it but it looks like this park solves all of our minor gripes about Selkirk so we’ll definitely have to go there next!

      This was a great park. We are definitely going back next season and for a longer stay if we can find the time - and whether or not my husband brings his beach gear, I'm going to have a beach day! 🤣

    You popped up on our feed today! Great tour of your camp set up. Fantastic beach! They have tons of space at this camp ground, the sites look great. We all have phases- when we sold our RV it was sentimental at first- but when we sold it was just time. Good luck with your next adventures, sounds like you are upgrading? ♡ Smash burgers looked great!

      Thanks for watching! Yes it was a bit sentimental, but we are very happy with our new trailer 😊 Like you said, it was time! Smash burgers turned out pretty good for a first attempt 👌

    The park looks great, but living in cottage country it would be a long trip. Now and wow the clipper is going or gone, what is next? "RUclips is as far as I go in social media!!
    Also this was a well done video and I love your sunglasses..

      Thank you!! Yes it would be quite the drive from cottage country! We sold the clipper and picked up our new trailer. We're currently on our 2nd camping trip with it. Next video will feature the new camper.

    Looks like a great park! Just curious, any reason in particular for ditching the clipper or did you just want more space? My wife and I got a new popup trailer last year and it's great but we would like to upgrade to a hard shell in the future.

      We really enjoyed the park! We loved the Clipper and I still miss it, but we just needed some more space inside. It was a struggle for both of us to be inside, especially in bad weather - and we've had a lot of bad weather this season!!

      @@TheAverageTourist Ya I can imagine. I bet most of the space was just the bed. Lol

    My favourite park as a kid. Just a hop, skip and a jump from London. Loved the amphitheatre program. Ps. Was that Camping with The Coles across from you in the backing up footage?

    • @TheAverageTourist
      @TheAverageTourist  2 месяца назад

      It's a great park! It was the Coles, they were across from us last year at Canisbay Lake and came over to say hello.

      The last clip was from Canisbay Lake last year, and we did meet them! Ben recognized our camper as we were pulling in and came over to say hello. Friendly people!

    We went last year for canada day weekend the Friday we got down we went for a walk that evening around 8 pm .. and we took the trail away from the beach and then loop back down to the beach and we were not talking on the walk we Had our dog and on the trail we kept running into deer like 10 feet infront of us we come round a bend or a hill and their be a deer on the trail starring at us we had like 8 deer encounter on a hour walk all a stone throw away it was a really cool experience we also took a trip down to Port Bruce which was a free beach provincial park near by which was also nice. I think u took one of the long paths to the beach from the parking lot their was a path towards the first parking lot that was a very short walk also if u go to far on the beach away from Burwell (on the park boundaries i belielve south end ) u come to a nudist part of the beach which people with children should be mindful that is there

    • @TheAverageTourist
      @TheAverageTourist  2 месяца назад +1

      That sounds like an amazing experience with all of those deer! Must have been a really peaceful walk. Good tip about the nude beach 😳 you'd definitely want to avoid that if you're camping with kids!! 🤣
