Guys - you have officially arrived at the greatest stretch in the MCU! *CIVIL WAR* is the best of the Captain America trilogy, in everyone’s top 3 MCU movies ever and is easily one of the best comic book / superhero movies of all time! *BUCKLE UP!*
Captain America: Civil War came out about the same time as Batman versus Superman, and demonstrated why Marvel writing is so much better than DC. With the conflict in Batman vs Superman, you just roll your eyes at how stupid it is. But in Civil War, when you hear each side explain why they have that solid conviction, you're thinking, "Yeah, I think you're right. That's a good point." for BOTH sides! It's so tough.

Two of my favorite parts were when Scott outed himself to the cops by accident and when Dave and Kurt were arguing in the van then Dave tried to dissuade Gale and Paxton.
Did you know that Hank Pym was the one who created Ultron instead of Tony. Antman and the Wasp was the first original Avengers in the comics along side Ironman, Captain America, Thor and Hulk. So the movies version is a bit different than the comics
Slight correction: Iron Man, Thor, Ant-Man, The Wasp, and The Hulk were the original comic book Avengers. Cap was given "founding member" status after he joined the team (The Hulk departed before Captain America became an Avenger).
The film definitely DID pick up steam after its release. It was a sleeper hit and has aged very well. Hes become a fan favorite. Just gets more 🔥 from here 🙌🏾

This was about a guy who got screwed over by his choices (well intentioned, but still) and who was just trying to get back what mattered most to him: time with his little girl. I also liked how Paxton, the policeman/future step-father, wasn't really a bad guy but he loved both Scott's ex AND his daughter and wanted to protect them both, and he and Scott became friends at the end. That was a great touch that really got me. And the three wombats were also awesome. So many good actors and characters in this movie!
