Hello Olivier, first thanks for your great work and Videos, really appreciate it. I think a great topic would be the correlation between sitting in a recliner and watching movies on a regular TV. There are so many questions regarding directions of view, field of view, impact of TV height on forward head posture etc. Maybe you find this idea interesting for one of your upcoming videos :) Greetings Tim

Thank you. I was thinking of purchasing a recliner. I usually find most couches very uncomfortable. I only find comfort in a good ergonomic office chair. Luckily my Haworth Fern fits me comfortably.

Thank you. This helped me understand reading a book posture for when I go chair shopping

The Poang has a great advantage in that you can attach a tablet/ebook holder to the top of its wooden frame so that the arm of the holder extends above your head and you can position your device directly in your line of sight. In this way, you can read comfortably, but of course, this is only a solution for those who read e-books.

Thank you so much for this video Oliver! I have a really bad neck and it keeps locking up in bad knots when sitting in my recliner. I am disabled as well, so I am often sitting in my recliner during the day, and need something comfortable for long periods of time. I don’t have an adjustable headrest which it seems could really help me out. Do you have the link to that chair or a similar chair that would help with an adjustable headrest? I have been searching everywhere for a chair that doesn’t make my neck hurt worse and knot up bad every time I’m sitting in it.

You're welcome!! The one I have is the Strässle Aaron: www.straessle-switzerland.com/en/collection/relaxer-tv-chair/. Indeed, I think that what you need is adjustability: the chance that a fixed headrest suits you perfectly well is rather scarce...

Should you also use the arm rests while you read in the recliner?

If they are at the right height and distance, you can. Otherwise, use cushions…

Hi Olivier, would you mind sharing the manufacturer or model of the recliner you use? I've been looking for something just like that but I don't know where to start.

Hi! The big one is this one: www.straessle-switzerland.com/en/produkt/comfort-line/aaron/. Is that the one you mean?

I am trying to find something like the aaron black recliner you have, but in the US. Cant seem to find any that have adjustable lumbar support and protrusion, do you have any recommendations?
