Thisbis the perfect pattern i can make for my mom! For years she's been wearing the huge triangle shawls I've made her as her comfort at home, but asking for a more shoulder-hugging shawl to wear on the go. This is the ideal shape!
I have never made a shawl in a unique shape before. I think this one would be perfect. It looks like it would stay in without having to worry about it slipping off all the time. Great design.
I quite often pick up my sticks and strings with no idea of what I'm going to do. I then just knit along (with the occasional tink or frog and a mulligan or two) until the yarn stops grumbling and starts purring. As a result of my experimentation, I've wound up with several unusually shaped shawls and scarves. I've seen three triangle shawls before, but this one sounds totally unique. Wishing you many blessings in this season of Festivities with Family, Friends, and FOOD! And Thank You for being one of our blessings all year long.
How elegant! I have only ever made the tried and true rectangle and triangle shawls and have only ever admired wedge shawls from a distance. This is very beautiful!
gorgeous pattern and yarn! never seen this shape before, what a unique shape! it will sit put on the shoulders without slipping off - totally makes sense for a shawl! tysm
I have never tried something with such a unique shape like this beautiful pattern, I can’t wait to knit this and see what I make. Your piece is beautiful and the colors really make a statement
I love the shape of the shawl. I just finished a hexi cardigan for a new niece. It was fun. The colors in the piece are soothing. Have a great day, Pumpkin.
I have been living the different shapes of shawl since my fiber art journey began almost 3 years ago ❤ I love unique shapes, but haven't made one such as this one, before (now) I'm excited to get started! Thanks again, Chandi ❤ for being you. Merry Christmas!
This is SO neat! I have once made a wedge shaped shawl. It was the first shawl I ever made. I crocheted it holding two strands of cotton lace weight yarn. It was my own pattern. It was double crochets that decreased as it went down. I changed four colors with one strand and one strand staid the same. I made it 12 years ago for my daughter when she was two. I purposely made it big enough to fit me so she could grow into it. It is tattered and well worn but my daughter still has it.❤
I've made all manner of shawls, but you had me at "stays put" and "bamboo"!! I wear your Anuket shawl often, but I'm always aware of it when I do. It's soft, stunningly gorgeous, but also wiggly! BTW, I picked colors on my own for that shawl, and only recognized when they arrived that I'd used the exact colors as in your sample. You've been an inspiration to me and I open my emails from you quick as a wink when I see them because I want to see if I'm your lil dew drop, your sweet pea, or my favorite, beautiful soul. You're a gift, Chandi!
Such a beautiful shaw. The shape, the colors, and the yarn, all are stunning. I am working on my third shaw, and all are triangular. Didn't know this shape existed. Thank you for sharing.
I haven’t made anything like this one before. I have made some Stephen West shawls that have unique constructions. This shawl is beautiful, will definitely add to the to do list!
Lovely shawl. It's drape is beautiful. I don't believe that I've ever made an unusually shaped shawl. Great teaching. Continued Blessings! Happy Holidays!
Merry FRIYAY. So beautiful. Love the unique shape. I’ve made several shawls, but they were mostly rectangle with a few triangulars thrown in . This is truly ingenious!
Oh wow, this is exactly what I was looking for in a shawl, one that covers and stays on your shoulders 😊 So excited for this one, and those colours are dreamy ❤ Loving your new hairstyle too, it's so pretty! 🥰
I love the wedge idea. New to knitting, as I identify as a crocheter, but putting this on my 2025 to do list (at the top! LOL!) Thank you for your time in filming tutorials. They are clear and precise :)
This shawl is a beautiful hug! I've knit and crocheted all shapes of shawls but never this style. And by the way, I love your hair! It really suits you
Merry Christmas to all at Expression Fibres. No never made a shawl with a unique shape. Love these shades, perfect for Spring. Indeed warmth. Beautiful pattern. xxJane 🎄🌼
I love this! The colors are gorgeous and I love the way the shawl is constructed! I have never knit a shawl with an unusual construction, I am looking forward to it!!!❤❤
Oh my goodness! Such gorgeous colours, they make such a great combination 😃 I’ve not made a shawl with this unique shape before, and look forward to trying it 🥰
I have, but in crochet, which was almost a crescent shape It truly lays on shoulders without falling off. I crocheted it for my neighbor and she loved it!
Absolutely love that shape ...... I am drawn to 'different' shapes in my knitting. As an example, when I select sweater patterns, I look for interesting/different shoulder shaping/designs.
This is so pretty. I decided to make it when you mention that it stays on your shoulders. I have never made an unusual shaped shawl before. I can't wait to make this.
I haven't ever made that shape of shawl before. It seems very interesting and convenient for keeping on your shoulders. Thank you for sharing and for the tutorial!!!
I love the yarn colors, so pretty together. The only shawls I made - knit or crochet, were triangle and rectangle shapes 😊. Thank you Chandi for the tutorials, I always learn something new here. Have a great, joyful weekend 🩵
Nice haircut Chandi, it suits you. This shawl is wonderful & beautiful yarn drape. I do prefer shawls that aren't the triangle shape & tend to make more of these.
I've never made a shawl in such a unique shape. Only pie, triangular, and rectangular for me so far, so this would be neat to make. Thank you for the pattern!
Hi Chandi. I'm always amazed at the many beautiful shawls or cardigans you showcase in such equally beautiful yarns and colors. Thank you for your tutorials. You make it all seem so easy. I am a very new knitter and have only attempted a scarf. Being a fairly intermediate crocheter, I still have yet to crochet a shawl.
Love the color combination of course. It is a beautiful and very unique shawl. And no, I have not made a unique shawl before, maybe this motivates me to do. Thanks for sharing the pattern with us and thanks for all tricks you share here.
This shawl is so tempting! The yarn is irresistible! I've only done triangles and rectangle shawls. Noel is on my list to do. I'll add this one too. Thanks again Chandi. Your hair is adorable!!!
I've crocheted one of similar shape but have always wanted to knit one like this. Your yarns are beautiful!! I was so happy you showed how to do the i-cord bind off. I have always been confused by the technique. God bless you and may you and yours have a wonderful Christmas.

Love your hairdo today! Beautiful shawl and yes that looks like a great shape. I gave crocheted a shawl with 8 wedges but never made one with the wedges like this one.
I have knitted a shawl with lots of points - it was quite a challenge to block it to make the points stand out, but it was so worth it. It came out beautifully!
The yarn colors are beautiful. I am in the process now of knitting lilias shawl. It is coming out wonderful. This one is very pretty and love the way to flows. That will be next.
Thisbis the perfect pattern i can make for my mom! For years she's been wearing the huge triangle shawls I've made her as her comfort at home, but asking for a more shoulder-hugging shawl to wear on the go. This is the ideal shape!

Love your haircut! Beautiful shawl!!🎉🎉
I have not made unique shapes in a shawl before! It's probably time to try it!
I quite often pick up my sticks and strings with no idea of what I'm going to do.
