I appreciate you guys talking about drinking. Alcoholism (not implying you have a problem) was in my family my entire childhood and alcohol consumption is so normalized so it's something I've been reflecting a lot about. I do dry January every year and I've found that in situations like walking around pre-show in large crowds filled with drinks if I substitute with lemon seltzer water or something, even just the motion of drinking something is helpful and has helped me feel less alienated. The sleep thing is also huge for me-- all my friends claim it helps them sleep and it has never helped me once, it's actually frustrating how poorly I sleep after drinking.
No two cases of ADHD are exactly the same -- one reason it is difficult to diagnose properly -- especially if there is a combination of disorders, many symptoms often will overlap!
I commented a while back saying I’ve been having a rough go of it lately and Chad being a grump made me feel seen, and Chad poking fun at Kelsey for just saying stuff makes me feel like he watched me living my life and told my story on the pod…. thank youse both for the goofs, gafs, laughs and riots as always.
Just now found out we're seeing you in Macon here this month. A few of your bits make their way into our lives on the reg. Not sure who Brad Karchner is anyway.
Our older son had lots of allergies as a baby (milk, egg, and peanut were the three biggies for food but also environmental). He's 22 now and over the years he was able to outgrow milk and egg, but we've never tested peanut. I will say I'm a peanut butter addict like Chad and it was really hard to avoid it for years until I finally just said I'm gonna do it very carefully. We've never had an issue so I have a feeling that one's gone, too. But in all that time, the only substitute for any of the foods he was allergic to that was somewhat acceptable was Barney Butter (almond). Literally all of the cheese substitutes were inedible, and we won't talk about Tofutti "ice cream."
I actively get upset by people who are happy to be alive in the morning. I am so unpleasant when I wake up, it’s not fair or right to the people around me 😂
I have skipped a couple episodes asking this question but I'm going to go about it differently, I am a disabled veteran and I live in Lafayette, Louisiana and I'm wondering why I have never seen comedians come to Lafayette or Louisiana in general? I'm wondering if it has anything to do with what Tom Segura said about Louisiana? Please let us know
Waitaminute, Kelsey Cook (blue hat) is NOT allergic to peanuts but IS allergic to bees??? And Tits McGee (ponytail, welcome to the podcast) is also not allergic to peanuts??? I'm so confused 😅
Wow! Life is pretty hard as it is. If she has a pretty good perspective on life, your relationship...I am not sure what you are gaining by saying what your saying Chad but clearly upset her.
It's not fair that you guys are making peanut butter out to be the bad guy. The products you're naming aren't peanut butter. Peanut butter is peanut butter. The other products might be peanut butter and chemicals. Just saying let's be fair.
Is….is the tense conversation supposed to be funny? That wasn’t fun to listen to. Last few episodes have felt like when you’re out with a group of friends and one couple won’t stop making passive aggressive comments at each other the whole time. Save that shit for couples therapy. Weird vibes.
Mm-hmm is code for remarkable tolerance 😂
😂😂😂
Tits McGee is my Jackbox name! 😂😂😂
Kelsey takes all of chads jokes to heart 😂
I have ADHD and my brain also sounds like Black Friday at Walmart. It’s a nightmare
My 20 year old daughter had a tongue tie release. It was a life change for her. She had all kinds of health issues related to it. We never knew.
This is such a regular relationship conversation. Good on you guys for recording it

Chad Daniels may be the cure for peanuts. Keep him safe at all costs.

Haha I’m happy to hear it!

11:11 Wait... has Kelsey still not figured out she's dating Mr. Snark?

Hey voice gets more "fry" the closer they get to the end of the episode. Interesting

Chad, some people just don't listen to what they're thinking or saying.
Woah Chad… having his own conversation in his head… leads to him making a ‘literal-man’ comment…
Ends up taking some shine off her happy.
Go figure.

Agreed. Kinda made me sad for her… Chad may be sabotaging his own happy?

I keep wondering if this podcast will go full ironic and turn into the breakup problems pod.
😂 I love Chad's 😂🎉 good mood😅
