Le Sserafim is not a super vocally developed group, but at least back then Garam’s vocals were bringing her very refreshing and effortless sound to the group. She helped balance the mellow tones like Eunchae, Yunjin and Kazuha. Now the only one with a bright tone left balancing the entire group harmonies is Chaewon

1. One of the first controversies I learned about when getting into kpop almost a year ago was Garam. I was starting to like LSF and I wanted to know more about the group. Ended up watching Everglow Up’s video on Garam and I was shocked. I knew fandoms and the public could be crazy since I’m from the US and seen crazy fandoms like Barbs, Swifties etc. but that being my first introduction into how crazy kpop fans can go was crazy to me. I am very interested in Jisoo and Jennie’s next releases. Jisoo is working on her acting career, that’s true, but she said that she is still working on her music in the meantime, and knowing her she will probably give us an full Korean album of ballads with a bit of edm, at least something different from BLACKPINK sound. To be fair to Rose, I feel like she's just taking her time to create a proper album. Lisa is cranking out more music, sure, but a lot of them are musically bankrupt singles, and I personally prefer artists to take their craft more seriously. Actually, the problem with Garam was how awful all was presented since day one and well, the fact, we like it or not, till now I am under the impression she actually harrassed someone and use violence against a person. I think there should be a real study about how confidence in institutions is almost gone. Maybe that person was a bully, maybe she was defending someone but still, the act of answering with physical violence against someone convert you in the same you are condening. I really do not know if the authorities are so useless she could not actually ask for support from the school, the police or even the rest of the class but I do not think someone that think someone who use violence as first resource should be in an idol group. HYBE definitely caved in, and saying they didn't is an understatement, to say the least. It makes 0 sense that they came up with 2 different statements in support of Garam and then went with the opposite decision. Things were handled poorly and I think you gave both HYBE and Source Music credit where it wasn't needed it. They scrambled and it gave the impression that they didn't know what to do.
Also, I think you being an ATTRAKT stan is crazy. Respectfully, I think anyone with a brain could see how members leaving because their trust was twisted isn't insane or greed-infested. To be fair to Rose, I feel like she's just taking her time to create a proper album. Lisa is cranking out more music, sure, but a lot of them are musically bankrupt singles, and I personally prefer artists to take their craft more seriously. There is many problems about this mindset and it’s not just about fifty fifty… this mindset is a problem when it comes to victims of many situations. Having the mindset u can’t side with them cus they didn’t instantly speak up completely ignores the context of the full situation and the ability to speak up. These girls took a massive risk by speaking up at all. They knew their careers can be damaged, they know how wealth and power can play a part in the court, they know they can lose money, etc. Many idols who been mistreated didnt speak up instantly for these reasons and more.
So that’s more of a you struggling to believe victims of situations (when I say situations I’m talking anything like child abuse, dv, workplace abuse, s@/🍇, etc)

Actually, the problem with Garam was how awful all was presented since day one and well, the fact, we like it or not, till now I am under the impression she actually harrassed someone and use violence against a person. I think there should be a real study about how confidence in institutions is almost gone.
Maybe that person was a bully, maybe she was defending someone but still, the act of answering with physical violence against someone convert you in the same you are condening.
I really do not know if the authorities are so useless she could not actually ask for support from the school, the police or even the rest of the class but I do not think someone that think someone who use violence as first resource should be in an idol group. Imagine how she would have reacted after Coachella? After being diffamed for that CEO? After being treated like that group was treated?
Maybe she has changed, I belive that people can change but I think too that we should be hold responsable for our actions and Hybe and SoMu managed incredible awfull all that bussiness.

....seriously? people are trying to push all the blame onto the company for what happened to Garam??? are you kidding me right now?!?!?! bra, i was flipping here to witness it! i freakin' remember who most people wanted the poor kid beaten to death in the street or something. no matter what defense came out, they didn't wanna hear it. personally, i sat there silently and waiting for the dust to clear 'cuz i learned my lesson long ago to wait for everyone to say their peace and give proof before casting judgment. not to sounds like i'm saying "i'm better then them", just that i made the mistake of rushing to judgement before and learned my lesson the hard way - some people will lie about anything to get ahead/revenge/ect. now, did the company drop the bag a bit in dealing with stuff? yes. especially if you listen to one of Garam's friends who says she gave them sooooo much proof that they didn't use. but most of the blame is on fans who are now trying to rewrite history or still think Garam is bad. friendly reminder that Garam's "victim" took a picture of one of Garam's friends in the changing room and posted it online. i do believe that's creation and distribution of CP, people.

yudimi (the girl who posted the svc report for garam) stated that everyone involved (garam, her friends, her family) were SILENCED BY HYBE and used as noise marketing. they never sued the accuser and just let garam go. they didn’t let her classmates speak publicly because they said they’d use the evidence gathered to sue the accuser. they didn’t. stop defending hybe when it comes to garam when she literally confirmed her friends were silenced
