He was a kid from a countryside town that worked INSANELY HARD to be where he is now. He overcame disappointment (never got to be at Koshien, his years as an Angel player, two TJs, the whole ordeal with Ippei). He has slumps too. But when it COUNTS, he's the right person at the right place and time. He found a loving family in the Dodgers. He's having happy days with a beautiful wife (and puppy, lol). I do think the best of him is yet to come. Shohei and the Dodgers will be this season's World Series champions. The Boys In Blue will give him his shot, his opportunity, his moment... and he won't let it slip.💙
I hope Shohei continues to be healthy and can get to the post season. I know that he is only DHing so I'm not sure if the team should give him a day off. With yesterday's HR it kinda made me less worried. I know he will be alright. Congrats on 40/40! My MVP!

Yes, also a lot of guys struggle to some degree switching leagues, and what Shohei has done for Baseball in Asia ,Latin America, here, globally, it's unfathomable, can't put a price tag on it. Worth every penny and more.
