Road to 100 subs starts now.
The world is a lesser place without Neil Peart, the percussionist. And yes, Alex can shred with the best of them.
you must check out Xanadu live from Exit Stage Left.
Very soon 🙂
@@techreacts then La Villa Strangiato - studio version or any live version - it's an epic
I agree! I heard it in 1982, and Xanadu is musically, to this day, my favorite rock song ever. It's an emotional journey.
As a fan since the early 80s, there's no #1 Rush song....but Xanadu might be it.
Alex shreds in this one. If you haven’t heard it yet, Freewill is another shredder, except it has less of a “guitar solo” and more of a three-way musical explosion. Cheers!
Freewill and Natural Science
You should do "Free Will" by Rush! it will unspool your brain!! :)
Just pick any RUSH song, they're all great! ( But if you want a suggestion, try"La Villa Strangiato",🏆🏆🏆🏆,
All of Permanent Waves (1980), Moving Pictures (1981), and Signals(1982) needs listening, then there is about 100 more songs including legendary songs short and long before and after those 3 albums...IMO...lol
to see it live, back in 1994, it was amazing,no other bands like them,a masterpiece, all of them were synchronised, its next level,🎸🥁🎸
freewill
You should react to the video of Rush performing "Working Man" live in Cleveland on the Time Machine tour. About half-way through the song you will see all 3 musicians putting on a solo simultaneously that WILL melt your face off. Alex plays parts of the guitar which I've never seen any other guitar player utilize before. The live version of Working Man starts out in a reggae style and then punches you in the gut as all hell breaks loose!
You have good taste my friend, that's always been a favorite Rush guitar solo of mine. Quite unique sounding.
It was a really good solo
Rush limelight
I know I read somewhere that Alex recorded this solo outdoors in northern Canada. Can you imagine?? you’re outside canoeing when suddenly you hear Alex shredding across the lake…
"Middletown Dreams" ruclips.net/video/7t4SaJxu7SQ/видео.html WITH the lyrics. When the mid 80's hit, Neil stole the show with his lyrical genius. This isn't the band you think they are once you get past the early 80's...
Always been one of my favorite Rush tracks!
In an interview I think in Guitar magazine Alex said that the solo in this song was the fastest picking he did to date. Underrated solo
Analog Kid becomes the Digital Man. I just realized that the Album Signals(hint it was called Signals) was all about communication. Neil was a master at communication. 40 years later I just got it. I guess I am sometimes slow.
Got to see them live 13 times! My favorite band!!!!
Rush is my Fave! Where ever I'm at...It makes sense. Oh yeah
Now do 2112! It’s a 20 minute song about the future where the government bans creativity.
Ahhh...yessss!!
Good band eh 🇨🇦
Alex Lifeson was my Jimmy Page, for my generation. Great channel.
Great album, another great song off this album is “ Chemistry “.
All my top ten Rush songs are all on the same scale....number one. This one is included.
This may be a Top 10 Rush song for me. Always thought it was underrated.
Please, Listen to Digital Man! Is the right sequence for this!
Of course Alex’s playing in this song is astounding but Geds bass underneath is absolutely incredible to me! Pitching, rolling and free! When you consider everything Geddy did in that band it is clear he was an absolute musical freak of nature!
Both Geddy and Neil’s lines are insane.
My first concert ever was this tour in 1982, that night changed everything for me musically. I was 15.👍🔥🤘🏻
Great tour. Fantastic show! Best band ever!!
Great reaction!! This album is so underrated. They completely changed from Moving Pictures and continued to evolve their sound. The combination of rock with hints of reggae are dismissed, but time has proven that they were masterful songwriters. Digital Man and New World Man are great songs, that I believe helped transition to Grace Under Pressure. You should check out that album...see what you think.
If you loved this song, complete the trio from Signals including Digital man and New World Man,. Rush on!
Thanks for getting to this one. A great track off Signals. It always makes me think about growing up. Great reaction. I recommend checking out Working Man Live in Cleveland.
Neil's drumming has bags and bags of PRESENCE. Every note goes to the song, and is meant to be heard. All three are like that, really, even when they are "together", they all give each other the space to shine.
One of my personal favorites, i would always suggest watching the live versions of a song if you can. Especially from 2000 and on live shows. They have such a stronger, more powerful sound live than on some of the old recordings.
