      His two greatest fights were against the UK's Dave Charnley. My god, both fighters - well, it was irresistible force meets invincible object!

    Another great video! Something about those old school boxers, they never celebrate after knocking someone down!!!! Joe Louis was also like him.

      Work done. You do not celebrate when you get your work done. Specially if that means that your opponent is lying on the canvas.
      Good comment, well seen.

    I heard/read a lot of great things about Joe Brown but this is the first time I see him on film. such a wonderful boxer. it's a shame he didn't fight for the title much earlier. He could have been the greatest lightweight of all time and/or won titles in other weight classes.

    Another great fighter from the best era of boxing who is over looked. Beautiful style. He beats any LW of the past two generations. Joe Brown v Duran at LW would be some fight. Duran had trouble with boxers. Joe Brown was so smooth.

    is there any chance of a future video for Jess Willard or Takeshi Fuji?

    • @hanzagod
      @hanzagod  7 лет назад

      Hmm there's probably not enough footage of Fuji available although I suppose I could, not sure how long it would be though. Willard was poor in my opinion, tough but not great.

    • @The_13th_Hussar
      @The_13th_Hussar 7 лет назад

      thanks, and i agree with you on Willard but i think he gets a little too much flak i mean after all he went 2 more rounds with Dempsey after he shattered his cheek bone and frankly being able to survive even one round against Dempsey gives you some damn good bragging rights.
