It’s interesting looking back at this now. This plus Jeannie’s other conversation when she said “I Knew after the first year it wouldn’t work.” That’s probably what Jeannie means about the first few years being hard. Regrets + trying to work through it. I remember this sort of was like a red flag to me. She was living in denial the whole time.

Yup. My cousin was with this guy for 9 YEARS!!! He finally propose...well more like slip the ring on her finger while she was asleep. A surprise, but pretty lazy. He still didn't change after that. She finally have the courage to leave him. In less than 2 years after that, she got marry to a good man. They only been together for a year and quickly got married. Still happily married with a kid today.

Honestly, most rejected proposals happen out of the blue. Do not propose to someone if you two have not had a serious conversation (or several) about marriage!!! You cannot simply assume you are on the same page.
I’m so glad that Jeannie knows what REAL love is now. Looking back at her mentioning Freddie, it was clear that she didn’t have that PASSIONATE and real love like she has now with Jeezy and now she is pregnant with their child and being in love with Jeezy is what started to change her opinion on being a mother. It seems like she just could not see herself having a child with Freddie and based on his immature and gross behavior (not to mention his beliefs), I don’t blame Jeannie for leaving him and thank god she did.
What beliefs are those?
Marriage has to be a conversation that you have in a long term relationship, if not than obviously that relationship isn't going places 🙄
There have been SO many situations where people dated for YEARS then broke up soon after getting engaged or married. I always wonder what happened.

A proposal shouldn't happen unless the couple has talked about and agreed to get married. It doesn't ruin the surprise of the proposal to talk about the future of the relationship beforehand.
Edit: engagement is not the time to determine if you want to be together. You don't get engaged unless you know that you want to be together. If something happens after you're engaged that ends the relationship then that's different. But you shouldn't be figuring out if you want to be with one another after you've accepted a proposal. What is the point in doing that?

Make-up Artist, that Can NOT PROFESSIONALLY (&/or haven't been taught, trained, certified, and etc... at all as is actually ****REQUIRED**** in most states), APPLY ANY MAKE UP OTHER THAN WHITE!!!!!!!!!!

Having been a former MUA and licensed Cosmetologist myself, with Dreams of EQUALITY and how I thought it may not be much. But, if I could at least help educate others rather than shame them!
