Since Android took the time to program these into the software, why did they keep it secret?
Because finding no secrets would be boring, Easter eggs are fun! Plus this great video wouldn't exist then either!

I wish you could just order Dollar shave club products without subscribing to automatic shipments.
Some phones don't support access to the notification log, notably mine -- an older LG -- so you have to use a third-party app.
Only really old and really outdated Smartphones will not have what you mentioned

I tapped on the Android 9 thing in developer options to bring up the "secret game/play thing". On my Galaxy note 8 it didn't work. If it did I have no idea where to find it. Oh well. Looked like something fun to play with. Ty4 all those updates. Perhaps one day u can update us on all those different things under developer options. OMG, sooo many things I have no clue about. Ty! I enjoy watching your videos, u speak clearly, annunciate appropriately, speak slow enuf. VERY EASY to understand. I have watched others' videos, but do not understand cause of the accent or they speak way too fast, or slur their words, etc
9:10, for me it shows an Oreo with a Android on it and if I tap and hold it it pops up a weird (and kinda creepy) octopus looking creature that I can move around.

Mr. Joe please use Lollipop Recorder, it's free, has no ads and you can turn of the ''AZ ad notification' equivalent.
Some of them are pie (Oxygen OS)
Also review pie(One UI)
So i use to do split screen on my Samsung 8+ then A recent update that feature changed and i had no idea how to get it. Until last week i hit the button with 3 vertical bars and it pulls up all the apps that have been open. I touched an app icon and A new menu appeared, the second option is open in split screen. How is someone supposed to find these changes?

Most settings are just for Android 7 or higher...
Feature flags is disabled in my Galaxy S9 plus and I couldnt set up the widget the way your showing!

I see you do it and I'm using a Pixel 3XL BUT, when I take the picture of a business card, it doesn't go immediately to the option of making it a contact? I've got 2 crop it 1st, to get to USE IT AS a business card and then hit a different button? it's like a 3 or 4 steps process👎☹️ Wonder why it's so easy for you and not me?

Settings widget not available on Galaxy S9+
It's nice if you have a pixel 3 if you don't we cannot use these features
Samsung doesn't offer the settings widget or a notification log. There are apps in the Play Store that log notifications but honestly I wasn't too comfortable giving the required permissions to apps that depend on ads and in app purchases. What am I going to buy in a notifications log? I didn't do an exhaustive search of the Play Store. Would it be too much to ask for Google to let us order search results by app rating? They could offer a choice of App rating, # of downloads, or Alphabetical results when searching for an app. But at least the play store is much much much better than the Amazon App store. My sister asked me to load some things on a Kids Fire Tablet for my 2 year old nephew. All I wanted to do was download PJ Masks videos from RUclips, but they have no real RUclips app. You can download a VLC video player app, but there is no way to add files via USB. Apparently that can be done on a regular Fire Tablet, but not a Kids one. I was able to download videos with the Netflix app. But I am going to make sure I add a bunch of his favorite videos to my Ipad and laptop. I figure I owe that to all the people that will be on a cross country flight with us next week. Heck, I owe that to myself...

Press and hold the down volume button and power button simultaneously.
Also pressing and holding the down volume button while in camera mode enables burst shot and will continue taking pics until you unpress it.
