Samsung doesn't offer the settings widget or a notification log. There are apps in the Play Store that log notifications but honestly I wasn't too comfortable giving the required permissions to apps that depend on ads and in app purchases. What am I going to buy in a notifications log? I didn't do an exhaustive search of the Play Store. Would it be too much to ask for Google to let us order search results by app rating? They could offer a choice of App rating, # of downloads, or Alphabetical results when searching for an app. But at least the play store is much much much better than the Amazon App store. My sister asked me to load some things on a Kids Fire Tablet for my 2 year old nephew. All I wanted to do was download PJ Masks videos from RUclips, but they have no real RUclips app. You can download a VLC video player app, but there is no way to add files via USB. Apparently that can be done on a regular Fire Tablet, but not a Kids one. I was able to download videos with the Netflix app. But I am going to make sure I add a bunch of his favorite videos to my Ipad and laptop. So i use to do split screen on my Samsung 8+ then A recent update that feature changed and i had no idea how to get it. Until last week i hit the button with 3 vertical bars and it pulls up all the apps that have been open. I touched an app icon and A new menu appeared, the second option is open in split screen. How is someone supposed to find these changes?

Some phones don't support access to the notification log, notably mine -- an older LG -- so you have to use a third-party app.
Only really old and really outdated Smartphones will not have what you mentioned

Feature flags is disabled in my Galaxy S9 plus and I couldnt set up the widget the way your showing!
