Force dark mode is cool. I liked it in 2019 when I first found it, but it ruins the experience overtime when you realize there is text you cannot read. I do hope this option is fixed now or in the future.
It isn't supporting snapchat bruh ...
@@ReviewsByCinephile I would not know. I do not use snapchat. I could download and find out
True, even instagram took a long time to support it. While in real it doesn't need a work or even 100$ economy to implement it for such a company!
I can't even find this setting bro
@@LaLista209 You need to enable developer mode. to do this you need to go into settings and go to about phone. from there look for the build number once you find you need to tap it until it displays "developer mode enabled" in developer mode will have it.
I seriously admire your work. I'm an android nerd yet always find new good stuff here.
That freeform window option is a life changer. I have been searching it for so long on my pixel 5. Tysm
These are super-great and useful man, I subscribe just for this kind of information. I'd love to see you tackle Android 13 when you get it on your pixel and when you've had time to tinker with it to show great tips and tricks there. Thanks for the video!
I find all of your videos to be very informative and useful especially your developer options tricks. I like many other people use to be afraid to even go into those settings but the way you presented those great useful settings was interesting and actually fun to see and try out. And knowing that you can always go back to the original settings without messing anything up was such a relief to know. Thank you for sharing this information with us all. To be honest you are the best at showing these tips and tricks for cell phones.
As always, another great video with a plethora of hidden secrets 👍 thank you 👌
LinkedIN has built in dark mode.
Amazing video, thanks for sharing bro 👍🏾 your no 1 fan across the pond London UK 🇬🇧
Holy shit, I actually learned something from a video like this.
Apps that DON'T work in split screen are just maddening. Now I can force it in any app. It's glorious. Thank you for that.
Thanks , I'm using the smallest width setting on pixel 6 pro with Android 13, and it's amazing. Just need to increase the keyboard size
Found some good settings to change. Thanks.
You've got a new subscriber bro. Thanks a lot . Specially for the force dark screen and split screen settings.
Nice explained video 👍
I used to activate the hidden dev options in every phone I have..
Thanks for these as always 👊🏿
Thank you so very much
Please keep doing these videos
I always find something new
thanks..the width thing is so cool..extra content on fixed real state.
Fan fact: Force-Dark mode does not Aliexpress App, so I always have to use app called Darker to just dim the screen
I like how your editing improved
Do NOT change the default USB configuration, if you connect to a sketchy usb port that you don't know, it might have a computer connected to it which will readily copy all of your data
That's true. But either way, if there was a virus copying your data on a desktop, it would probably do it in the background without you even knowing. So either way, the person would not be able to see this coming and still with manual USB configuration input, would still get screwed cause they wouldn't know.
Have you ever heard about Juice jacking?
@@howtomen no? if your phone is set to just charge, it will just charge
@@kazooduck maybe
@@kazooduck nop
Thanks for all the 15 tips.
Great Video Bro 😎.. enjoyed Watching 🤩👍
Thank you for this information. My eyes are very grateful to you.
This is a very nice and helpful channel!
Underrated channel! Thank you bro!!!
Great video again from the greatest
There is a wifi safe mode too you explain how it works and does it effect to network speed
Thankyou! These were really cool! I wonder how well the graphics driver change affects games' performances. Would it make emulation faster?
I give you my permission to try it on your phone, and then report back with the results
@@frozenhouse5362 Yes sir, shall do!
That's a really good question, and I'm not entirely sure. But I'm sure it could help out if you're running an older phone that doesn't have a powerful gaming mode. Newer phones released in the last year probably won't see any huge performance improvements. It all depends on the device.
@@howtomen I have a device running Android 12 but it is a tablet with mediocre specs at best so it definitely struggles. I'll see if it performs better on emulators and report back since I don't have any other games
@@howtomen LinkedIN has built in dark mode.
The little skits remind me of the "As seen on TV"infomercials, haha!
I love your videos keep up the good work 👍
👍, nice video. What will happen if i increase or decrease the buffer logger thing ?? Will it change performance?
I love it bro keep up the good work and I love the video lot real true 👍
Thank you so much for the information 😊
5:22 It also blocks the gyro sensor
Great video 👍
I only use the animation settings from developers options. Also you haven't mentioned that forcing an app for (dark / split / float) wont make it work as perfect as if the app support naturall, eventhough it's a common sense😃
No shit Einstein
No shit Einstein
Would 2:11 fix "USB Fs mismatch" when I connect to an audio recorder? Like by selecting MIDI?
Love your videos! Wish Google would allow that Force Dark mode option to stay on, but it resets after every reboot unless you are rooted. Come on Google!
Will we get that pixel's bar in android 13 for other phones ?
can you share the wallpaper used in 6:15? it looks so good
This video is valuable!
Hmm nice intro 😁
Very refreshing ❤
Thanks without this video i wouldn't even know a lot of battery was drained on my phone
Even though I knew all these settings, I don't hesitate to watch this guy's video, he always makes good rich contents, kudos bro
Dude these videos are great but I feel like you've already made it like at least 3 times
Can we get that taskbar thing by minimize width in Samsung phones?
What about Mock Modem? What for is that. Is it for faster internet sharing or what?
I have just gotten one step closer to being the smartest man on Earth,Thanks for the video
Cool 😎 need more juices like this...
Omfg the force mutil media w.e is the best i really love that feature and this kist made it 10000 times better wowo
Thank you ,
Floating app windows, if you set multiple apps to freeform you can literally open them all up on your screen at the same time (split screen gives you 2 apps, floating gives you as many as you want or at least as many as you can fit on your screen).
I don’t really use dark mode unless it’s at night when I am feeding my son in the dark but I use my phones torch to see I probably won’t use dark mode a lot when I get my s22 ultra I’ve got an iPhone 12 Pro Max at the moment
linkedin gas dark mode option and also the google photos app looks weird with forced dark mode enabled
For OnePlus 8 Pro, how do I access Developer Tiles for Sensors Off feature? Since updating to Android 12, this option is no longer available.
Wow that was osm bro
Note at 0:13: LinkedIn supports Dark mode.
True
What is the refresh rate meter app used in this video?
It's in the developer settings as well , lol
wow force dark is so good 😊
Omfg this is what ive been looking for someone who actually knows what all fhis stuff does 👌
Wait is over👍
Does the force dark mode use more battery
No
These settings will be applicable to phnes like u have or higher not the type of lower version phones
Ive tried to install my sd card but when I exit the developer options the settings go back to the previous settings. Any idea why?
What was the tooth brushing in the beginning for
Can I get the link for your wallpaper?
Can you tell how to get a dark mode for Snapchat
Force Dark mode doesnt work on snapchat
3:37 bro living in 2021 , mans living in the good ol days😭😭😭
2:30 this seetting opens our device for everyone to steal our data
What aggravates me is that, everytime my phone restarts, it turns off Force Dark Mode and I have to reset it. I know of no known fixes. Note 20 Ultra.
Me 2 s22 ultra
I need your wallpaper!!!
@7:39 which game is that?
So if you put it to 600 and get the hidden task bar feature you lose circle to search it's actually gone from the settings and everything do you know how to get this back ??
🤣🤣😭😭
good vid
I love my Google Pixel 6 Pro and 6a with Android 13 upgrade
I've tried force dark mode. It's not accurate.
cant use override force dark mode ..
sadge
OK this video didn't have what I'm looking for. It also did not have a link the the other HowToMen video mentioned, called "Every Android Setting in the Developer Options Explained!", so for those interested here is a link:
ruclips.net/video/JkV78G4UXDM/видео.html
After checking it out, I did not find what I was looking for there either.
Can anyone help with how to change the default pixel size of buttons & actions? I'm using a high density screen & 48x48 pixels is too small. Is there any way in Android to increase default button size?
The overide force dark in developer options is only on my Pixel phone and none of the other Android devices that I have ranging from OS 6.0 to 12
Oh but it works perfectly on my samsung
@@nerdakash4920 Thank you, but unfortunatly out of the 20 or so devices I have none are Samsung for me to try.
It was actually introduced in android 10 if I'm not mistaken.
So, if it's not showing up in developer options on all the other phones except your pixel, there's a fat chance the manufacturer of those other devices have used force dark for their own implementations of dark mode. Or their implementation of force dark doesn't need the one provided in developer options.
Therefore they removed it from developer options completely as it's unnecessary.
By this logic, Your device manufacturer should have a native force dark setting under the normal display settings.
If not then 🗿 idk
@@nerdakash4920 you mean the developer options version or Samsung's own iteration of force dark?
@@JstormZx I really appreciate your help with this. Thank you.
Force dark isnt there on my Honor 70
linkdin has native support for dark mode
LinkedIn does support dark mode last time I checked.
2:04 I think that's a security step
LinkedIn now supports dark mode, including on the Web
Overwrite dark mode is not available LG G8x Android 12
Force dark doesn't work with Snapchat and TikTok, and it's a shame. Why Snap and TikTok don't support Android the way they do iOS, is mind boggling.
Mines does with snapchat
Linkedin does support dark mode. It is not on by default
4:37 what's that game?
Do NOT change default usb behaviour. You don't want your files to get stolen when using public chargers.
what is the game called in 7:35 ? please ?
i mean what gane is it ?
i cant find most of the options in your video on my poco f3 like force dark mode, background procesees and force peak refresh rate and probably rest of the list
i am sad that these options aro not available on every android smartphone
I think this is a MIUI bug. If you use the search bar to find those settings they still show up but they can't be found in the developer options
@@orangelowstar thanks frend
LinkedIn supports dark mode though
Portland, JAMAICA in the Building !!!!!
so the Ugreen only charges isheep and crapbook devices?!
LinkedIn actually does have a dark mode. It's just a pain in the bum to find.
Where is the video u made abt all the developer options??? I can't find it
ruclips.net/video/JkV78G4UXDM/видео.html
This is the link to that video 😀.
Freeform floating window doesn't work on my OnePlus 9RT.
how ı can use animation speed under 0.5 like .25
My Background Check shows a ton of apps but they are all turned off
you were playing DADDISH😂😂😂
LinkedIn supports it but it is really hidden in the settings
"Dadish" is the game name
