oh man Chinook jumps were intense , C-130 jumps were a breeze just sucked out of the door and boom your chute opens. But Chinook jumps oh boy there is a good 500 to 1000 ft drop before your chute opens I almost pulled my reserve on my first Chinook jump but still very fun but intense.
everyone's experience is different I guess. I found the Chinook jumps to be the easiest because you didn't get "sucked out the door and boom". For me, Huey jumps were the worst because I could never get seated comfortable on the edge of the door and was worried about clearing the skid rail even though I never touched one on the way out.
I might not have rolled left or right especially on an operational jump and at 500ft as well...but I ALWAYS kept my feet together!!!! RLI Death from the SKY!!!!
