awesome update... kudos
Thanks for watching. Will be posting another one in a week or two as long as I make some progress!
Good luck, wouldn't mind having one myself
These trucks have gotten very popular. I got mine without realizing that.
Incredibly based
Unit!
Hi Colt. I would replace all of the relays and fuses in that panel with new ones. It will save you multiple headaches down the line.
I have replaced most of them. Plan to do all of them when I have more money to put into it.
Hey,
Where can I get a new set to replace all of mine ?
Thank you
I would like to buy and restore LMTV m1078, i love all terrain vehicles + the toughness of the military truck make it awesome, meanwhile I would like to learn everything about it, but i prefer the 6x6 version
The 6x6 has it's perks & it's flaws. The flaws mostly being legal things when in civilian hands. You will need a CDL B to drive it without a trailer, a CDL A to drive it with one, much harder to insure, title, ect. Mechanically, it is not that much more challenging. Just another axle really. It won't get thought the drive thru as easy. :)
Do you have a video on how to register it in Texas
I purchased my truck with a title so it wasn't any different than any other vehicle.
You want non-vented glad hand covers on the rear. That cover you put on looks to be vented... the vented cover plates are for the front where you must use vented covers...
Thank you, I noticed it had a vent but didn't know the difference. Will get a non-vented one ASAP.
Got a non-vented one now. 😁
What did you pay for the LMTV?
Between $1 & $10,000! :)
Colt - I have an LMTV in the DFW area. Let me know if you are in the general vicinity and perhaps we can meet up at Dallas Gun Club to compare trucks. Dan
Will do! That's a bit of a drive for me.
@@CallMeColtLLC What part of TX are you located ? Dan C.
@@danielcrowley179 I am south east of San Antonio.
@@CallMeColtLLC No worries. I am planning a trip from DFW to Marfa and perhaps can pass you way en route.
man let's see those protester's faces when you roll around with THIS!
I plan to bring it to Open Carry Texas events.
@@CallMeColtLLC stay safe!
