Paulo i had no idea you had a channel, i am a former student of Hvac Tech, Juaquin was my instructor. Good job, you are one of the best Hvac instructors.
Again, great vid. I will be vacuuming my unit. However I won't be filling it with refrigerant until a few days later. Is it ok to vacuum it and charge it with refrigerant days apart?
@@culture12ny We normally don't do this,we're done with the vacuum we charge the Unit but if you are gonna leave your gauges in there because as soon as you take your gauges off air is gonna go inside so i don't think you're gonna leave your gauges for a couple of Days
@@paulohvac lastly, don't you have to take your gauges off anyway in order to fill it with refrigerant? Or, are you leaving them in and just connecting the yellow to the refrigerant and so on?
Great video thanks I have one question could I use a 2.5 ton mini split condenser to a 2.5 HVAC evaporator reason is I need to cool the house I'm a little dout about a wall mount unit I'm been told they go out quick. Thanks
Hi, after replacing a suction line and liquid line service valve do you perform the vacuum with both valves open? If so, wouldn't the vacuum pump pull compressor oil out of the system? Thanks
Hi, I installed a new residential ac system. When vacuuming my pump is discharging a lot of air and my gauge barely moves from the zero mark. Does this means I have a big leak? Thanks
Yes, I agree; however, I noticed Paul showing only one core removal tool. Of course, 2 removal tools will allow you to have a less restricted flow therefore faster evacuation process.
He tratado de aprenderlo por 10 años pero mi inglés no es muy bueno y estoy cofundido en cuando cubres el condenser como saber exactamente que este bien cargada
I have a question, if I’m gonna disconnect my lines for roughly 10-15 min. Do I need to pull a vacuum again before opening back my valves with refrigerant?
air will get in the system, as soon you disconnected the line. But you lucky enough the system still running ( ok) but ! Not running good as before you open up the line.
Excellent video. Very well explained. Thanks

Thank you man, how is it goin?

Very nice, humble approach to serious knowledge. Cheers!
Awesome video. Need this!
So after all that...how do you get the valve back in?
Good important basic info. I hate when egghead techs get too technical and fail to mention basic stuff.
Can I connect the micron gauge directly to the core remover?
Yes sir
After you finish your vacuum do you now open your service valves on your condenser?
Well, check the microngauge make sure the microns stay at manufacturer recommendations and then open the service valves..

Yes, the evaporador they don't last i guest you can do it, better to ask manufacture.
Finally Found an Excellent explanation
good video good explanation. do you have the video that showing how to refill the freon? I like the way you explain thanks
thank you, working on it.
Paulo Perez thanks for your reply, I had one more question do we need to open the high & low side service valves? Gracias Señor
@@vettc7417 yes is recommended, more access better vacuum and if you add a core removal tool much better
@@pauloperez8457 Gracias Señor

No..
Great demonstration! Thanks
My air conditioner does not have a high pressure service valve, what do I do in this case?
Good technical advice for RA technician
Thank you for the super information.
Great video, thanks for sharing.
How did techs pull a vacuum before micron gauges. It seems that the gauges have worked for years prior to micron gauges.
Thank you very much
Thank you for share.

Yes, or lose coneccion or bad gasket on the gages.
Great vid fella 👍🏻
Best video perfecto for learning
This video is great 👌 thanks
I wonder how is it possible that compressor oil doesn't come out during the vacuum?
The oil is in the refrigerant.
Could you have connected the micron gauge to the core removal tool instead of having the yellow hose in between?
Yes sir..
Thank you so much!
You make a point about removing the Schrader valve on the suction line why not remove it also on the liquid line for better vacuum
Yes, I agree; however, I noticed Paul showing only one core removal tool. Of course, 2 removal tools will allow you to have a less restricted flow therefore faster evacuation process.
That is a low-end Ritchie, it cannot hold vacuum after a year or two, you know that.
Buenos días amigo puede hacer un vídeo de cómo cargar una máquina de 410 en el winter en español

I graduated from Lincoln Tech but I couldn't find a Job.
Why not, there is alot of companies looking for tech here in chicago, are you a good tech?
Thx Paul, I am looking a job around Maryland, DC or VA. Thx for your response . Your video helped me a lot when I was in Lincoln Tech.

Too bad you and the camera person are on two different pages. Good information but not so good footage.

Nice, 😄
