To obtain those same loose stitches without worrying too much about your technique and so, I would recommend a way bigger hook! Would be easier to do and it would treat better your hands ❤️
Yes sweetie just relax without letting the yarn go too much and a bigger hook than the yarn asking for perhaps even two sizes higher it won’t hurt it’ll look beautiful especially with acrylic and wool yarn 🧶

I do the same thing for collars or borders for clothing projects, it looks really cute.
