Great lists dudes. US metal is a big favourite. Its lovely to see bands like Oracle, Ritual, Steel Prophet etc among other giants.
I will keep my list for the second part since that idiom demands thought but I will agree to the magical brilliance of Eternal Quest by Mystic Force. An album that has marked me since it came out. An underrated gem full of incredible, melodic and powerful songs that range from catchy to complex epic highlights. A band of incredibly talented musicians. Everyone of them stood out. I mean just listen to the drumming of Chris Lembach. Geniuses

Interesting picks. Looking forward to part 2 with the top 10 albums. Personally, I would love to see Nevermore included - it's almost infuriating how underrated that band was. Yes, Sanctuary were much closer to the archetypical US Power Metal sound but Nevermore were unique, as was Warrel Dane. He is sorely missed.
Hey there. Thanks for your comment. Nevermore was an amazing band indeed. I saw them two times and they were great. Still I must say that personally I prefer Sanctuary whom I feature in my coming list. That doesn’t mean Nevermore is a lesser band, it’s just a matter of preferences. 🤘🏿
@@ADDICTEDTOLISTS yeah, that seems to be the norm. I sometimes feel like the odd one out who favors Nevermore, even though I worship Sanctuary. Keep the good lists coming! 😁

European metal is rhe best Us metal tries too hard to impress, but many times fails miserably in creating catcy songs with good melodies.
I like European metal, especially the older bands like Rage, Helloween and Running Wild. But I do prefer US metal because it is more raw and speedy. Plus European power metal lately is just more “happy” than I can take.
