Should have the Thrunite TN42 in a couple days. If it outshines the K70 I'm unloading the lesser of the two. Supposedly it will throw 200 more meters. We'll see.

Nothing compares to the K70 or TN42. The TN42v does punch out more but very close

I have a couple of similar flashlights to the X800 (XML-T6 Bin), and mine is much brighter than the one, you have tested? These flashlights need high quality 18650/26650 batteries, to perform at their, best. Get the feeling, that you might have tested it, with inferior, undercharged, batteries? Same happened to me yesterday, when testing, one of mine.

The app doesn't increase your flashlight at all btw. Judging by how much access it requires, it probably collects data, and sells it.
