Man what were they thinking with them shoulders. I ordered this and bane off nin nin and I almost regret buying this now. I’m gonna have to customize it somehow.
All of their figures have awkward looking shoulders
Some are covered by capes or
Suit jackets though
@@dHuntersReviews and is it just me. Or do their legs look a bit off. Like mainly their thighs.
Nothing I noticed
Looks amazing! But I'm happy with my Mafex Hush Batman... Unlike you, I only keep 1 of each character. It's a lot cheaper. I would be tempted to get the figure if they release it in black though.
This one way better
Hush Batman is overrated imo
@@dHuntersReviews Different strokes for different folks. To each there own.
The cape sucks and the legs are so thin
@@dHuntersReviews Wow, you really have strong feelings about it. I still love him.
The gap in his torso doesn't seem like a problem until you get Bane and pose him breaking 'ol Bats back over his knee...
The Mafex bane can do that
@@dHuntersReviews the issue being that Batman will have a pretty decent gap showing...
I will see how it looks when I get my Mafex Bane in the next couple days
Is this one is batter than hush batman?
Like I said in the video, I believe it is better
I hope mafex gives us the knightfall catwoman, I love that style with purple suit
Me too, dc direct did a great figure of her many years ago, but it didn’t move very good
What’s that website again? Didn’t see it.
The figure looks cool. I don’t have any of the higher end figures but maybe will get one in the future. Is it really worth it compared to McFarlane?
I added it in the description
It’s quite nice but a smaller scale
@@dHuntersReviewshow is the international shipping cost even with the better price of figures itself?
Cheapest takes like 5 weeks, I pick DHL, its maybe $20 and comes in like 2 days.
I don’t think Batman had a launcher in Knightfall.
I've thought about buying this. Is there a similar Batman with lighter blue colors? His OG Super Powers is my FAVORITE Batman. I still like this one.
This would be considered the lightest blue colour for Batman. It only goes darker from here, at least in modern 6/7" scale lines.
@@Chalor. Yeah I have both McFarlane Knightfall Black and Blue. I like them both. I make capes, and videos on how to make capes. So, that's not an issue. The shade is the problem. I LOVE like blue. Like Super Powers Batman, and ToyBiz Superman. The "Gentle Giant" Batman looks really cool. I just don't like 12 inch figures, that much. I will most likely buy this figure, since I have other Knightfall figures. I just wish they weren't so expensive. Wife doesn't really understand collecting.

I just remembered there is a lighter blue option, the Mattel Super Powers figure. I have that figure, 'cause of the nostalgia with Super Powers being my first Batman. And it works out perfectly 'cause that's what you wanted. With the making capes thing, I plan on making one for this figures. How often do you get a Batman figure with the option to add your own cape *_without_* having to damage the figure? I wanna give them that cloaked look.
@@Chalor. I want one that's bigger than my Super Powers Batman. Like a 6 or 7 inch, would be perfect. I can make capes. But it's a pain to get the plastic ones off, with a heat gun. The glue is strong. Gentle Giant made a 12 inch figure that looks exactly like the 84 SP Batman. Thanks for the suggestion. I will look. But I want a 6-12 inch figure that's light blue. I like this figure. I want to find one like my McFarlane Knightfall Blue fig.

I feel ya. I was gonna mention another Mattel figure I have (the Super Friends Bats), 'cause it has the removable cape that's done exactly like the Super Powers one...but the blue is a lot darker.
So the two best options I can think of is either repainting that one (since there's no glued on cape at all), or get that Mattel Super Powers one...but you'd be left with glue residue removing the cape.
Thanks for the review, alleays the best comparison sizes. I think the same of the shoulders, looks little strange, but is a great figure
That keeps it from being a home run
Nice and very indepth review. Love the comparisons with other lines. I got mine in a week ago from HLJ and its just an awesome Batman. The classic look is also my preferred version. Did you know that the shoulders pull out to give it a more seamless look, I discovered this while posing mine. It makes a slight difference. Overall a great release from Mafex. I hope you're right about a Hush Tim Drake Robin!!!!
You mean they push in? They still look bad no matter what you do
@dHuntersReviews Yes, they pull out and push in. Not sure why thas done that way.
The awkward butterfly joints make the upper chest too narrow and throws off the look of the bat symbol. If they could fix that and include a Neil Adams style head in a future reuse of this mold I might be interested.
Yeah, fix the shoulders and it’s a home run
I've been looking forward to your review of this one.
I hope it delivered!
Nice review and a pretty nice Batman figure, but yeah, the shoulders are an eyesore. I actually think I may prefer the Kelly Jones look, only because we never really got that version before. While there have been multiple figures released in the classic Neal Adams / Jim Aparo style. But it was a good idea to multiple figures so you could have both without having to choose.
You mean...Jim Aparo..because Neal did't work at all in the knightfall saga ..dude you are litle bit confuse..hopefully soon came out a figure based on Neal Art..like the Son of Demon saga..Nuff Said.
Just the regular look of Neal Adams
I wonder what the articulation is like on the burnt hot dog. 🌭🌭🌭
Pretty weak
Has some give to it though
TOTALLY agree about the butterfly shoulders! I hardly own any Mafex figures because of that very reason! Their Spiderman figures especially look terrible - like they're wearing tank tops fgs! I truly don't understand why Mafex have such smooth knee joints, pelvis, elbows, etc but keep going for sunken, gappy butterfly joints!
Yeah, excellent figures, just figure out how to execute that better!
looks like his shoulders might be in the drop down possition try pushing them up
It won’t make the butterfly joint look good
It looks bad no matter what
@@dHuntersReviews oh I see
@@dHuntersReviewsD trying pulling the butterfly outward. It makes him look a lot better
