Hey rick would you say that the first encounter is easy to do solo? Cause if it is then you will be capable of getting the raid coin things solo which will mean that you can get things like anarchy without needing to use a fire team.

During Atraks, I found it easier to leave 4 in the Lab at the start of the encounter until the servitors spawned (Lab first) and had the Operator pick up the Buff before going up to the Station using the pod. By the time they were up there, the Station servitors had spawned, so there could be 3 up there to deal with them, and the Operator Buff was up in the station already. That way as soon as the first wipe happened, and we were waiting for the Lab guys to do theirs, we could control the Replicator we had up in the Station, and didn't need to use the Terminal so it could be dedicated to the Scanner transfer. I haven't experimented enough with the Raid, so I don't know if this method is easier or not, but it's what worked for me

Reminds me of crown of sorrow, Ivd never been in the raid before but ended up sherpaing the thing after watching a video. But all 5 people who have been in before didnt know what's up lmao
Try to find a good clan that will teach you this. You will learn better if you have played the raid. I have only did the raid once and now after watching this video, I know what to do in the raid.
First secret chest is very easy to get to! When you are in the final bubble of the snowstorm area, look at the door which leads out of the encounter. Turn to your right, leave the bubble and jump up along the cliff then up above where the door leads. There is a chest nestled into the cliff right there. If you know how to navigate through the bubbles, it's actually quite easy to do with two people, and definitely solo-able if you can clear the adds yourself
Tip on the Sparrows. If you quickly depress and accelerate you will get a boost in speed. It's excellent for crossing large gaps or getting some crazy air time.

I understand the desire to get a guide for this raid up and edited as soon after its completion as possible, but I really worry that the rush hurt the quality. Given how complex this raid is, it might have been better to give it some more time. Don't get me wrong, this was still incredibly informative and I'm blown away by how fast you got it up after completing it for the first time; the quality of the video is still very good, especially in light of how quickly it was made. I just think it could've been even better if it had been given more time.
My team was stck on Atraks from 21:45 to 5:30... finally managed to down him with just 2 players remaining alive on the last clone. The rest of the raid was a breeze compared to fkin Atraks...
People might not like the long videos you make Kackis but for me and others that don't understand the raids to well this amount of detail, tips and instructions you put into the videos makes me better understand the raid.
Great Vid Kackis. The first encounter can be completed a MUCH easier way. First you have to number each pad. my team did the one closest to the door below the light side as one and one closest to the door on the dark side as 10. The operator instantly enters the basement and the scanner calls out the two numbers. Then they pass it through the terminal. A second scanner on the other side picks up the scanner buff. They call out two more plates that the operator shoots. Then the operator inserts his buff in the terminal, an extra team member picks up the buff for the fps phase, the scanner puts the buff into the terminal, the guy in the basement calls it, they call out the first glowing yellow light, then the second one, and then puts the buff back in the terminal. The guy w the operator buff gets it in the terminal and the basement gets the buff and you do it all again twice more

I'm a pedantic asshat, and for any other pedants out there, at 1:45 (-ish) you'll hear Rick saying "traNSverse" / "traNSversing." What he means to say is "traverse" / "traversing." Now that that's out of the way, THANK YOU for this video, RIck. Returning player after more than two years away from the game trying to get a handle on all the content I've missed. Really excited to try this raid for the first time =)
Congrats! My team attempted it blind yesturday. We got to second encounter, then someone had to leave. Eventually I joined another team, and we started at last boss, but we couldn't quite execute the plan well. And some of us had been awake for almost 24 hours, so yea ha
Legit don't understand what goes through the minds of people that disliked this video. The amount of work this must have taken is insane, not to mention how fast you got it out. Everything was explained clearly and in great detail, there's literally not one thing I can find that warrants a dislike. Thanks for another awesome vid Rick.
Why eyes of Tomorrow is the gjallarhorn: Gjallarhorn is the horn possessed by Heimdall in norse mythology. One of Heimdall notable traits is his allowing others to see what he sees. EYES of tommorow.
We found out last night that if you're going for the Not a Scratch Triumph and you lose a Pike, as long as you don't enter the other heat bubbles as you progress through the encounter, the player you lost and the pike respawn at the first heat bubble. Don't know if this is widely known but its a big help for bagging the Triumph and the DSC Sparrow.
My team managed to get the final boss after 10 hours, didn't have the dps to finish though :( Some tips I can give: in the room mentioned around the 25 minute mark, stasis warlocks are a lifesaver. They can spread the stasis to surrounding ads and reduce the chaos, witherhoard also works well if the entire team uses them to "block" entrances to doors.
These videos take a colossal amount of work, any support is greatly appreciated!

Let that sink in
Last Wish took almost 24h just to be completed. Let that sink in.
@@eduardohenriquecarneiroalv6343 and in the 24hours they didn’t even figure it out, they forced through Vault 😂
Not really, strats were out before the raid was even out.
@@eduardohenriquecarneiroalv6343 2/3 of the time was for the vault lol
@@fruit_slash9679 lol, thats true. I still don't know to this day who was the genious who really managed to figure out how vault really worked
Watching this video again for fun because I like to watch rick kackis gave me flashbacks when I saw that security room... we actually failed this one more than we did atraks and taniks
I'm a pedantic asshat, and for any other pedants out there, at 1:45 (-ish) you'll hear Rick saying "traNSverse" / "traNSversing." What he means to say is "traverse" / "traversing."
Now that that's out of the way, THANK YOU for this video, RIck. Returning player after more than two years away from the game trying to get a handle on all the content I've missed. Really excited to try this raid for the first time =)
so we both just came back lol
For security room, number both sides 1-5, so they will call out Light 1,3 Dark 2,5. Its super fast and easy when you get it down
Whole lot of respect for you, knocking out a guide at 5am, after a day long of raiding
I’ve been waiting for this all day lol, also early for once
Just beat the raid about 10 minutes ago man is that raid absolutely beautiful with its skyboxs.
THANKS FOR ALL HARD WORK I KNOW NOT EASY DO THE RAID AND THEN MAKE THE GUIDE SO FAST!
Me: Enjoying the video
Rick: falling gill a teen
And nucular
We all knew Taniks the Scarred would somehow one day become a raid boss.
If only I had buddies like he did 😔
Same
Got my first day 1 completion, I’m officially not a dummy!
People on LFG wanting people to KWTD already:
Me, who hasn't done the raid once and has only seen clips of it:
What does kwtd mean
@@brokenhalosc0810 I’m late but know what to do
Just about to go to bed and then this came out. Looks like I’m staying up another 40 minutes!
For the sparrow encounter you can just look out for the orange lamps and follow them. These will always lead you to the next safety bubble
This will be my first raid since Destiny 1 and I already feel fully equipped to handle it. Very informative sir!
*Me going into DSC lfg*
Randoms: "you now face god like judgement. May it extend eternally."
So practically u grab atraks's soul and throw it out the airlock, its giving me among us vibes lol
I’ve literally already seen LFG posts requiring 10+ completions
Rick didnt mention it at the sparrow encounter but if you head to the right from the last bubble there is a little ledge with the secret chest on it
Man raids have changed so.much. I did all the raids in destiny 1 and the first raid in destiny 2. This is just overkill
Thank you for reminding me why I don’t do raids and never will
This raid is just a mix of every raid
Why eyes of Tomorrow is the gjallarhorn:
Gjallarhorn is the horn possessed by Heimdall in norse mythology. One of Heimdall notable traits is his allowing others to see what he sees. EYES of tommorow.
Very informative, thanks! Would love to see which weapons to use now that many have been nerfed/buffed.
The amount of time that Kackis said “guillotine” incorrectly genuinely bothered me
he also said transverse instead of traverse lmaooo
don't forget "nucular" instead of nuclear
@@dabstradamus that was so annoying
Some people just pronounce things differently bro
And dont forget drag, tag, frag, stag, magazine, dragon, and rezourzez.
I just can't get over how he says "Nucular" instead of "Nuclear" hahaha
Or transverse as opposed to traverse
Reminds me of people who still mispronounce library as libary
Every time I heard "Nucular" I found myself yelling " It's NUUU-CLEEE-AARRR!!!"
My team managed to get the final boss after 10 hours, didn't have the dps to finish though :(
Some tips I can give: in the room mentioned around the 25 minute mark, stasis warlocks are a lifesaver. They can spread the stasis to surrounding ads and reduce the chaos, witherhoard also works well if the entire team uses them to "block" entrances to doors.
Thanks for the guide and congrats on finishing the new raid!
All I really got of this guide is that Taniks is back again.
HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO TEACH YOU THIS LESSON OLD MAN?!
